I love the wolly monks. If there was a live feed of these thoughtful creatures I would pay endless amounts and watch them all day long

Charlie is so missed by the staff, and myself. It saddens me when they aren’t well and can’t get cancer treatments. Much love Charlie.

Wow! Bart has taken the leader position! His Dad, Paddy was a great leader.

I'm so proud of Bart. He was such a funny little guy. He has made me laugh so many times but my fav was when he was learning injections and was trying his best...he presented his but for his arm. Such a cutie.

You go Ruby!!! What a surprise and how amazing, 4 OMG! I know and believe all of these wild animals belong in the wild but when they can't be returned to the wild, I think it must be the equivalent of winning the lottery. These animals at Monkey World seem to be challenged daily in all aspects, they are safe, have plenty of food and most of all, they get to live with others of their own kind, just like having families of their own. I think Thelma and Bart brought a lot of joy, to all the members of their groups, and brought them together as a family, so I understand the necessity of letting some groups having a youngster, even if they are being raised in sanctuaries or zoos. What a surprise for Ruby, Oscar and the whole staff at Monkey World. After being torn away from their own parents and families, this s something they never would have experienced where they lived before coming to Monkey World. Since having 4 babies is so rare, hopefully this show and the information we learn about al of these different types of monkeys will help put an end to people purchasing these animals. It's sad this had to happen in a sanctuary but, since it's so rare to have quads, hopefully this event and this show, will attract people from around the world, to watch, stand up and help, in anyway they can, with the preservation of all of the animals currently going extinct and educate people that while they think they are saving these animals by buying them as pets, they are actually contributing to the pet trade industry.

They used to do two a day. I think they went down to one now because we're fast approaching the end. We're only a few seasons behind the current show now.

What we used to do at the zoo when we could not tell baby's apart and we needed to know how long 1 or the other/s were feeding was to mark them with food color on their backs and tails. That way we could tell right off the bat who was on mom and if they were there long enough to feed

I wonder if anyone can respond to this: in regards to the little boy wooley , Cosmo, with the history of seizure activity, I wonder if he will be allowed to enter the breeding population or will he have a vasectomy to try and stop that health problem from continuing into future babies just in case it is a genetic issue. If the woolies can ever go back into a wild population it would mean limited access to life saving vet treatment so it is imperative to promote a strong healthy population.

I wondered the same thing, to be honest. I would think that a seizure disorder would disqualify an individual from being part of a breeding program.
