Great video, Jordan. I just picked up an SP10. It's been 2 years, we're ready for part 2!
Figure-8 knot is better for the bitter end of your anchor line. A granny knot can come undone unless under tension, but under great tension, it will compress and jam to tightly that you can't untie it. A Figure-8 knot makes a better knot for the bitter end, doesn't compress so hard, and can be easily untied when desired.

Definitely agree the figure 8 is a great knot for the end of the anchor line!! I usually don't try to flirt with anchoring at the end of my rope, but sometimes when fish are in deep water it is needed!
Great video Jordan! Thanks for sharing!!

Thank you! Will do!
Have you done a stability video?
Did you have to rivet the anchor locks in place? Thanks.
Waiting for boat build Part 2 !?
Where are Marlon boats made ?
Marlon jon boats made in China
How would putting your anchor on one side or the other of the rear of the boat make a different? The motor is in the middle making it equal distance to a rear mounted anchor. And what difference does it make which hand a fisherman uses on the boat. That also made no sense.
how stable is this boat?
