Never got any bur for my young cousin when she got her morphe palate . Woman was never on food stamps her dad is a millionaire and if she was ever on any food stamps she would be more humble trust me on that !

So glad people are talking about her being a piece of shit, I've been saying for years that I don't understand these Jac Stans. I've unsubscribed from several channels because they were still using her products. Like??? I can't. I don't even shop at Ulta anymore. I sleep better knowing she gets the bare minimum of my energy. In fact this comment is the most you'll get out of me about this toxic person.

I know it's horrible but as a casual fan of the beauty industry, I'm not sure how or why people trusted Jaclyn Hill enough to buy a 12$ lipstick... Investing 1 million dollars to do business with her with no contract? That's not a move I'd expect from someone with more than a days worth of business experience...

You can still get some products, very few left on her website and i just grabbed them. If she releases more makeup they'll be banging. Marlena didnt deserve all that happened to her, but she's going to come back 10 times harder. Just watch. Evil doers can smoke her dust.

When Jaclyns marriage failed, I was like, way with all the lies, fake smiles, buying house, hugs and kisses with Jon, why did she have to fake that. I say why her because it was her channel, she didn’t have to post any of those video. Why fake all that then a few days later, she announced her divorce.

I feel bad for her, but how do you run a business of that magnitude but don't have any contracts to hold Jaclyn accountable for all that wasted product??

Not for nothing, this Marlena woman ignored a lot of red flags before they invested $1MM because she wanted the collab to work out. Yeah Jaclyn did some shady shit, but she never confirmed their collab and was sending signals the entire time that she didn't want to work with them. So Jaclyn might be sneaky and rude, but Marlena has no business acumen and it's her own fault she tanked.

She was royally screwed by Jaclyn as other have been too apparently. Goes to show people are all great actors when they want to make money off of KZread. Don’t believe the hype.

I was so happy for Marlene when she launched makeup geek and I even purchased a lot of makeup from her. When I heard she was closing shop, I could not believe it. I did not understand how that happen. Now we know, thanks to Jaclyn.

Genuine question. Did make-up geek order $1MM in products without a contract with Jacklyn? If thats the case, thats just poor business skills. Who drops that kind of money without a contract? And if there is a contract, then you sue for compensation.

They both make me gag, but hands down I believe Marlene who is clearly a terrible judge of character because she can’t stop waiving her claws around for 30 seconds to even think.

I’m sorry, but Marlena is wrong. Jaclyn Hill put Makeup Geek on the map. No one had even heard of it until Jaclyn started freely promoting the products. And sorry, but Marlena obviously made some poor business decisions and can’t take accountability for her own failures. There’s not a single business woman alive that would have contracts signed for over a million dollars worth of products. It’s unfortunate, but it’s on her.

Didn’t Marlena make certain comments about influencers and that’s why none of them worked with her brand?

Nah, MG went to shit when they decided to move into target. That, and due to things Marlena herself said. Funny how quickly people forget what actually happened versus the narrative a so-called influencer tries to push. 2016. It’s now half way through 2023. 8 years later and still whining. THAT is why your business failed. The businesses that thrive are ones run by strong owners who own their shit. Owners who don’t waste time in the past because they’re too focused on the future.
