Thought you might like to see a short film I shot 28 years ago of Marlborough Carnival Fair from 1992. The fair has taken place on the Town’s Common since 1975, after moving from Marlborough's Elcot Lane playing fields. However, since the absence of the accompanying Carnival, its appearance has been somewhat intermittent and last took place in 2017. Hopefully, it will be back in the near future. This film shows lots of once familiar fairground attractions, all of which travelled regularly with Jennings Fairs on their Wiltshire circuit. Hope you enjoy it.
