Marko makes his new music free with his band like in here...and yes he can sing so many styles. He wanted to correct things and felt that he had lost a friend...he wanted to make a duet for both of them to perform. Yes...as you say when they sing together....just awesome voices.

I'm so glad you loved it apaprently as much as I did! It's just like you said, this song is not meant to be flashy, it's relatively simple but it has so much heart and it's in the harmonies, the lyrics and their voices. I've been listening to it pretty much every day since its release and I have not yet grown tired of it! :) They have always had great chemistry between their voices!!

And now that my two favorite people have caught up to this SPARKLING MV, I'm totally hyped. Marko is really just peaking as a musician and the appetite for this particular collaboration couldn't be more voracious. Thanks for the reaction. A beautiful fresh song far removed from the Nightwish sound, but so close to Marko's music. A song about love and friendship that brought Marko and Tarja together after years. But that's not the only reason why I love Left on Mars.

Marko now owes Tarja a duet so something to look forward too. Markos style is a mix of his band Tarot and Nightwish, Tarja has also changed her style to be more like Markos for this song that it works for her and I wish she would do it more.

Marko sings like he sings in his solo album "Byre of the Black Heart" I hope you have listened that. The Finnish version was released 2019 and the English one in 2020. Markos voice still outshines Tarjas vocals as it used to in Nightwish too. But Tarja has become more melodic and is not full on operatic here. What is a little funny that Marko made this song with Tarja, after all Marko was the one who pushed the stone rolling to kick Tarja out from Nightwish. But it is a gorgeous song.
