The Greatest car driver ever in motorsports! These drivers really flouts the death! 200 km/h in narrow gravel roads or asphalt roads or snowy roads. Alen drove and (maybe) still drive maximum both of them three.

In my opinion the music was a good touch the lyrics fit well with the legend who could tame a beast going 80 down a narrow dirt road

@kekkonen10 He still has the record number of Stage Wins, with 796. Won in all types of cars and could race the wheels of anything. Great diversity and speed.

Alén and McRae were the only Rallye drivers I ever cheered for... Röhrl was sublime, Ari and Juha were fast, Henri was a superstar, Stig and Hannu revered, Michelle was unique!

My favourite driver. The 1986 championship should've been his. He was the better driver that season despite Lancia not being the best constructor.

Back in '85 1000 Lakes day 1.. That one day (thanks to rain) when he and his 037 were flying against Peugeots and Quattros. Amazing day that was.

Old comment but it wasn't thanks to the rain. It was thanks to him. Driving a RWD in the rain on gravel stages requires more skill and concentration than doing so in an AWD car. Not even touching horsepower :)

Tal vez no fué el mejor en su época, pero siempre estubo entre los mejores y, en Finlandia era inalcanzable. Para mi es el mejor.

yes, not crappy music. the supercharged enginesound is the second best sound in the world. Only audi S1 was better :) Luckily i was able to go watch the last finnish rally with these 1000hp monsters.

It just baffles me why I have to listen to horseshit dutch pseudometal in a Markku Alen tribute video. After all this cat won 1978 FIA rally cup with Fiat Mirafiori and continued to create havoc with Lancia Stratos and 037. The 1986 S4 Integrale team of finnish dynamites Toivonen and Alen is something that only referees can deny - or death.
