There are series you grow up with that are native to you and then you see these adults embrace the series you loved as a child and still like as an adult and it kinda feels surreal to see how it has a fandom enough for shipping. Mha is just a good example of terrible fandom for a good show so i used that as a stepping stone for a joke.

Yeah, they tried to make them weird Dr Suess kinda names. They totally missed what they were supposed to be. I don't get why they didn't ever fix that. Many of the names were changed, but were close enough. Tofslan and Vifslan's Engliah names are so bad that they should FEEL bad for keeping it around.

As a person who has watched the series. The one on the left is the main characters mother who's happily married to the mcs father, and the one on the right is a neighbor with 3 kids of her own and she hates the main character and her friends because "they keep getting her children in danger"

@@TheRedTigon i can't speak for op here but i don't really ship moomintroll and snufkin either. for me that's mostly because i grew up watching the show and just don't really ship either character with anyone mostly because i just don't think it fits their characters or their relationship dynamic. tbh i see snufkin as more aroace than anything, while moomins still less mature compared to snufkin (even though don't think there to be that big of a age difference between them)

1:49 for me was just an "oh :(" moment because I really like this one...

honestly it's not as bad as some make it seem; they're both more mature and have this certain need for isolation at times. Alicia seems more like a social butterfly, but she can handle being alone and focus on her witch studies for example. they're also both very much connected to nature and can stop to appreciate the wonders. not awful!
