And the other one is calmly walking up to his camera and carrys it while its recording. Grabs a kitchen knife and then walks to somebody drops the camera and then u hear violent screaming and stabbing then he picks up the camera and goes back into his room and then says "ok..lets continue"

Bennett Foddy isn’t a “fucking sadistic asshole”, you just want to say that because he made a hard game. Trying to make progress can be frustrating. That’s human evolution right there my friend. Next time act a little more educated before name calling an individual for making a successful game that millions of people played.

@@marshallbad First of all, you've never played the game for yourself and are obviously lying, second you're a total asshole when there's no reason to be one, videogames CAN have an emotional and mental effect on the player, whether it be rage-inducing, purposefully difficult and bullshit gameplay or a heartfelt story with characters you're attached to and want only the best outcome for, you obviously don't know what you're talking nor has experienced the game for yourself to truly experience the effect it'll have, try making up to an hour or more progress just to lose it all due to a small slip-up and use your damn head before commenting next time.

Of course I have put in countless hours in a game just to lose it all, it’s when people I play with are incompetent, being a troll or just an asshole in general to ruin another person’s day. I experienced true rage for probably the second or third time in my entire gaming career just a week or so ago. I put in about a hour and a half into collecting so, SO much loot to sell and I’m ambushed by player killers. So don’t tell me I don’t know what it feels like. The reason I said what I said is because I know these games. They are designed to frustrate you. And of course I’ve been frustrated by them. But I’ve gone through some tough shit in my life that has driven me to rethink my entire approach towards these situations.

"This game looks really simple." It's not Greg, I played it at a friend's house (my friend is sadistic.) and it's really hard to beat without patience. ._.

Being a Markiplier fan for as long as I have been and knowing him as such a positive and happy-go-lucky person and seeing how much this game messed with him was crazy. I imagine that if this was the first video someone happened upon, they would SWEAR he was an angry miserable person and that's not his channel at all.

Getting Over It is an incredibly difficult game because of the controls and because there’s no checkpoints.

That was funny when he said I'm going to burn my house down and put it out with the cauldron. He must've been very raged at that moment.

I have trouble watching rage compilations, especially for Mark. I may find a few parts iconic and funny, but most of the time I feel bad and want him to see him do well.

Some animators like GrittySugar have taken some of his playthrough vids and makes 'em even funnier. Definitely recommend the Markiplier Animated playlist.

This was every mans biggest weakness

I've never seen that game before, but it would cause me to burn down my apartment. Being doomed to play that game for eternity is my personal hell. Watching him play it causes me anxiety.

Then, after a few hours of playing (keyword being hours here;) you've manage to build the tower to a tremendous height. Soon, you feel as though victory is in your grasp. But then, something happens and the whole thing comes crashing down. THAT is how Mark feels with failing at this game

Mark actually says in a twitch stream that like, pretty much all of that was completely genuine. Like he imagines how he's supposed to do all of that but if he can't actually do it, it gets him insanely frustrated (which i understand to a certain level) and it just really like affects his health and mental wellbeing. And that's why he really hates playing rage games; because he also said that he hates how angry he gets and how angry he looks and how scary he gets to people. like he says that he knows he's not pleasant to be around during something like that so that's part of the reason why he stopped playing rage games. But his friends convinced him to play pogostuck and that's pretty funny

The mastery of games is the fact that difficulty and fun are two completely different things, but are essential to coexist in a balanced way for a game to succeed massively
