Seriously, they are indeed friendship goals. Imagine those years, they've seen each other's growth and witnessed their struggles and hard work. We might not know it but I'm sure that there are off cam misunderstandings that happened to them which is normal and could make their relationship stronger. But you can all realize how strong their bond is, like they are both irreplaceable to each other. They could meet new people and new friends but at the end of the day, they are each other's home (that's too corny lmao). What I mean is that no matter what happens, they will forever be bestfriends. You can all tell that markhyuck isn't just for a show or just because a lot of fans ship them, you can tell how genuine their friendship is and that's what really matters.

Actually I've read one of ao3 fanfic and their analogy was so adorable. In that fanfic, Donghyuck always think Mark as the first of his childhood teddy bear. *"Although I can have more teddy bears in the future but you will always be the special one for me because you're the one with me all this time."* And I cried reading that. Like that explain them so well.

It doesnt matter how far and how long they seperated.. They always look for eachother once they get back together.. Some people think that they are drifted apart.. But the truth is their eyes never missed to look at eachother in the most fondest way possible.. They might be sitting across eachother with 4/5 people in between but they always look at eachother.. And the most important thing. They always encourage and compliment each other.. That gestures for me made up all the skinships we missed this era.. Because thats what they are.. The friendship that they have.. The most precious ones.. When we think about most idol would show their chemistry on cam to show that they are close to each other.. i literally started crying when he said "open up to me, honestly, i'll be ready to be there for you whatever the situation is." they are literally soulmates and their friendship is so real and natural. i really believe they've found life long friends in each other and their friendship will last for many, many years.

Their friendship is so special. They are literally soulmates. A soulmate doesn't have to be a love interest but it can be a sibling or a friend. Seeing them together makes me so happy, but it also makes me wish that I had a friendship like this. I did have a best friend but she moved to a different school, and even tho we still talked it was hard to meet up bc she made new friends. I just want a friendship like this where I can call them my sister/brother, and are always there for each other every step of the way and are by each other's side for years on end. Like Mark said, it is really rare to find a friend like that, and he is so lucky to have found that and to have it, and the fact he acknowledges it makes it even better.

True.. Imagine with lots and lots of trainees comes and goes.. But then both of them stay together till the end and debuted in the same group..
