Marketing The Fall Guy: The Big Pitch | Part 1
Ойын-сауық
Here’s the pitch: #TheFallGuyMovie is meta. Only in theaters May 3.
------
He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?
From real life stunt man and director David Leitch, the blockbuster director of Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and the producer of John Wick, Nobody and Violent Night, comes his most personal film yet. A new hilarious, hard-driving, all-star apex-action thriller and love letter to action movies and the hard-working and under-appreciated crew of people who make them: The Fall Guy.
Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie-being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)-goes missing.
While the film’s ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, The Fall Guy also stars Winston Duke (Black Panther franchise) and Academy Award® nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
From a screenplay by Hobbs & Shaw screenwriter Drew Pearce, The Fall Guy is produced by Kelly McCormick (Bullet Train, Nobody, Atomic Blonde) and David Leitch for their company 87North, and by Ryan Gosling and by Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones, Steve Jobs and executive producer of the upcoming series Ripley) for Entertainment 360. The film is executive produced by Drew Pearce, Entertainment 360’s Geoff Shaevitz and the creator of the original Fall Guy television series, Glen A. Larson.

They spent too much on marketing and it still had an underwhelming opening weekend. I don’t get it the movie was pretty good.
Love this 🤣🤣🤣 I live in London; hearing Gosling being Cockney is everything 😂

Beautifully edited!!!
The movie is incredible. It’s a perfect film. And the marketing for it is just as good! Everything’s been so entertaining and exciting and fun and hilarious!!! Universal, thank you so much for the movie, and all the fun times attached to it, but most importantly thank you letting all these talented people be themselves, shine, and create something really special. I haven’t stopped smiling through every piece of The Fall Guy content I’ve watched, from the movie to the press. It’s been a such a joyous ride of a lifetime Ryan and David and maybe others have mentioned that the movie is a gift. A love letter to the stunt community. That while making the film they thought about us, what the audience would enjoy most. So I would just like to say, thank you. The best gifts are an experience and what a gift this one has been. Thank you so very much. This has been one of the best gifts I have ever received.

well it's a movie about people trying to shoot a movie!
So so sooooo good 👍 ❤❤❤
Missed the opportunity for The Batman Answer Robin or The Beauty And The Beast, well there are way many so can Kinda understand!
Didn't even mention that it was originally a tv show starring Lee Majors.
I read something in Variety that Universal is going to add a stunt show to their theme park?
i hope there's a Peter O'Toole cameo of some kind
Emily is full of poo. 😂 Ryan was a motorcycle stuntman turned motorcycle bank robber named Luke in The Place Beyond the Pines. He was super Marlon Brando hot in that movie, too. ❤ In the Notebook, Ryan played Noah, rowed a boat, and jumped and swam in a lake.
Fun
“Well thats one theory”
Not beans?
😂😂😂❤
Why was Hannah eating a banana??
Harikasız
Show
Shit
This is all fake!! Ryan road a motorbike in a movie and has talked about wanting to own one since he was a child. And he swims with mermaids in the Nice Guys. Next you’re gonna say he’s afraid of heights. 🙄

The movie was The Place Beyond the Pines. He played a motorcycle stuntman turned motorcycle bank robber. Ryan was absolutely electric in that role.

@@tonihagan6330 I’m aware. My comment was a joke.
This was as funny as a turd in the bed.
Leave all past shows ALONE!!! Stop f***ing with shows that were done right in the first place. Grow some creativity and WRITE SOMETHING NEW!!!
