    The only reason "virgin" is seen as an insult is because a lot of men (and women in some cases) have been ready and wanting for sex for years and haven't had any luck, and they don't like to be reminded of it.

  • @Twiska

    @Twiska

    2 ай бұрын

    To be fair, it isn't that hard to have sex. If that is all you care about, I mean. Getting a good relationship is hard, but just having sex isn't. So, if being just being a virgin is what is bothering you, it's really your own fault at that point. I had sex and a few relationships between the ages of 17 to 20, but I haven't been looking for a relationship for the past 8 years. So I haven't had sex in that time. And I'm fine with that. And I'm confident I could go out and have casual sex if I tried, but I don't want to. I guess I just don't have any sympathy for people who complain about being a virgin while also having high standards. Nothing wrong with having high standards, and also nothing wrong with being a virgin. But complaining about it makes them feel entitled.

    On the futility of autobanning soft insults. Gaylord is a name, derived from the french name Gaillard meaning strong of dashing. From dashing gay shifts over time to mean joyful or happy. As for virgin, i've not seen many italians who dont insist on the use of extra virgin olive oil in cookery, autobanning the word is going ignite some far stronger language from them for not allowing them to advise higher quality ingredients in their food.

    From Internet Historian's other channel Incognito Mode, I'd recommend "hobbies.". The half hour videos are generally him talking with a guest about a topic (still animated in his usual manner), often to a hilarious extent. I haven't seen all of that content, so I have no idea what to expect with that Sonic fanfic. Another one I'd recommend from Incognito Mode is "The Gentleman Pirate". It's a bit long, but honestly good, and not enough people react to it. Found your channel a few months ago, and your videos occasionally help pass the time at work. I definitely enjoy how you're often aware of what's gonna happen before it's even said.

    Internet Historian did a video on internet trolling polls but I think thats been deleted from the channel Also his Kurk Ichenwald video was also deleted from the channel which is a shame they both were funny videos also requesting his Capture the flag video (HWNDU)

    Gaylord is a last name Derived from the Old French surname Gaillard (from gaillard (“strong”)), brought to England by the Normans. Compare Spanish Gallardo (from gallardo (“dashing, strapping, gallant”). Shaped by folk etymology into gay (“joyful”) + lord. It’s also the name of a convention hall in Maryland, right under D.C. i went to an anime convention there a few years ago. Very nice building.

    If you haven’t seen it. The videos on “Incognito Mode” (IH’s second channel) are HILARIOUS!!! It’s all just unscripted goofing around with a theme and a friend, and it’s all animated just like the new main channel videos. I think good ones to start at are “Fasion” or “Weapons” but they are all gold!

    Oh, that brought back some fun memories of me and my friends messing around with the MC Donalds make a Burger thing back in school. I sadly can't find them anymore but they also had the function where you auto generate a promotional video where your face is badly photoshoped into it. Much fun was had with this too by making all the wrong people the face of the campaign.

    Hey, I have one of those McDonald's stories. A dude asked us if we'd buy him a sandwich, and offered us weed for it. Note, what he pulled out of his jacket was not weed. I don't want to know what was in that bag, but it was brown and looked chunky. A legit nutjob moment. Edit: Also, pizza revoked the right to be called serious business when Pizza Hut hired Ween to write them a jingle. Mind you, they did not use said jingle, but you can still find it. I see nothing wrong with it.

    to be fair, Agile isn't "really" tech, it's more of a workplace system of managing work. More management then tech, though it really applies to a lot of tech based companies.
