As a 76ers fan mad we bailed on Fultz for Simmons. Unlike Simmons Fultz actually worked on his craft and despite not being physically 100 or mentally he still played and now look at em his slashing is a gift that doesn’t come around often

Sixers fan here. I've never been more excited for a draft pick than Markelle. In my opinion, he was one of the most perfect PG prospects ever. I really don't know what happened, but it was really unfortunate what he had to go through. Contrary to the media narrative, us Philly fans gave Fultz all the support in the world and many of us still do. I pray he continues to get healthy and has an incredible career ahead of him. His ceiling is still very high.

Markelle said a lot on this episode, salute to him that take courage and ain’t easy, and salute to the vets d miles and q Rich for making him feel comfortable cause they know it’s not easy playing in the league. 44:16 "I'm honored to be a point guard that can help him right now."...on speaking about Paolo. I didn't have a personal opinion of Markelle before, but now, I mean, who says that? That's not rehearsed. That was authentic. "Honored to help him". A former #1 who has had it rough, and that's his mentality? Wow. That makes me realize I probably need to start thinking about how to become a better person myself.

The thing i think people get confused about with markelle is the injury prone label. The dude have only had the ACL injury as the only series basketball related injury. He had a toe fractured to start this year, missed the first month and played the rest of the season. The nerve thing was its own situation. It just seemed like hes injury prone because the nerve thing saw him missed alot of time, follow by the acl. But truth be told his first full season in orlando he played the entire season minus like 8 games. He came back the next season and tore the acl. And even coming back from the acl injury hes had literally no set backs. Like we hear of guys coming back from the acl injury and they miss time because of knee swelling, soreness, etc. That hasn't been the case with markelle. And even the typical injuries we hear about like ankles, calf soreness, hamstrings, all the typical injuries that cause guys to miss a few games here and there, havent really been the case with markelle. He just missed alot of time on the shoulder because no one knew how to handle it at first, and then the acl, that's literally it.

You can't beat a good rise, fall and redemption story. Kelle had an injury only one other NBA player has had (never played in the league again) meanwhile everyone and their dog in the media was tearing him apart saying he just forgot how to shoot. It's so crazy to see him playing the way he is now given his circumstances. He has a Cp3/Rondo effect on the game it all just comes to him so naturally. His pull up from mid range is a thing of beauty and the last few weeks of the season he began taking that same pull up from 3. His catch and shoot 3's still need a lot of work but I'm telling y'all he's gonna be special next year and so on. He would be a safe bet on MIP to cash in some money. Keep on fighting Kelle, still got that Washington jersey hung up in my room.

Life long orlando native and orlando fan here. Looking back to his first full year when he played almost the entire season along side johnathan issac, I didn't watch any games that year so I wasn't aware of his talent or issac talent. I didn't really understand all the hype surrounding markelle. But when I started watching him this year, month after month he got better and better. So I understand it now. He really changes the dynamics of a game when he's on the court. The magic is like an entirely different team when he's playing. Alot of the all star guards in the league just know how to score. But with markelle he does so many of the little things that only real basketball fans can understand. I think that's what separates him from a lot of them. I really hope the magic keep him around. With him getting reps in I just know he's about to have a break out season next year.

@@coreyjohnson5346 facts my guy. I've been a life long fan as well ever since I started watching the NBA. I was a little kid from Oklahoma who just chose to ride with Orlando because they were the royal blue team back in the Dwight/Stan Van Gundy days. Stuck with them ever since through the good times and the very very bad times. I watched a lot of Markelle at Washington and just knew he'd be special. I was so happy Philly drafted him giving they had J.J who was my favorite player at the time. It was crazy to see how hard Kelle fell from grace but I'll never forget the day Orlando traded for him. I was about to start basketball practice my senior year and checked my phone bc it was the trade deadline and almost got a heart attack. I started jumping up and down screaming and all my teammates were just laughing at me telling me how ass he was. I love how times change and now I get to tell everyone "I told you so". 😂 always love talking to other Orlando fans because in Oklahoma I just get made fun of for it.
