I remember seeing this car last year at Import Vs Domestic running a 241mph pass. The thing is crazy.

To all the innocents here the engine comes from a pro drag motor 500 cubic turn to a low compression 526 to make it compatible with the turbos ,in other words is a block capable of handling 10 k horse power , and sorry guys it's a ford motor ,feel bad for all those guys saying is not

El jerry was running 4.02 in the 1/8 at Orlando with a 2j the quickest import in the states, we might see a 5 sec out of that mustang but you can also see a 5 sec out of the imports. All I know it's gonna be a good race

It doesn't matter if it's a big block or not. Big blocks just weigh more but it's the size of the intake manifold that matters. Shift higher. That works best.

Can someone plz tell the owner of the car to make the end cap of the piping going to the TB's round not flat. you will get a smoother air flow throttle bodies.

As far as I know BAE engines are based on the Chrysler Hemi. Look at the distributor location.

danhr03 I beg to differ. That is an Alan Johnson 526ci Hemi (look at how the plugs are in the top of the head and valve cover). It comes out of their '57 Pro Mod. If that's not a Hemi, someone should tell David Hance because in the video (here on the Tube) of them testing that same car in Qatar, he says exactly that.

RealLife73 My wife's 4.3 Trailblazer has spark plugs that go through the center of the head. I guess that's a Hemi too? I take it all the Proline motors are Hemi's too, since they use AJPE engine blocks/heads, but their spark plugs don't go through the center of the head. It's all about perspective I guess.

danhr03 No sir it's not about perspective, it's about knowing what ur talking about. The title for the video is "QATAR RACING CLUB 2013 DAVID HANCE 10.5 OUTLAW MUSTANG". Please go to 6:38 and listen carefully to what the man (David Hance) is saying. After that, go to his Facebook page and tell him he doesn't have a Hemi in that mustang and let me know what his response is...I could use the laugh.

No its a big block 350 . My 1978 motor home has the same engine , they made great NOS engines . Sounds like a 3/4 cam and the engine is done to the nuts :)

Pro Tuners never tell , But I use a bicycle pump , ( not the cheep one from Walmart ) and MAX it out . That stupid crew guy just put the cap on and there was no pressure , The fast cars vent some boost off at the line with a windshield wiper squirters so they don't blow the engine . Turbo nitrous fords are the best IMO

The thumbs down must be from the team bail me out camp. GM she same team that makes billions yet pays little or no taxes thanks to our government picking favorites and giving GM a 45 billion dollar tax credit. Yes the same team that created the largest bailout in American history. GM short for government motors funded by taxpayers and the IRS that gives them the tax credits.

Haha they out a fatter driver in the car and it goes faster. Lol its an automatic, there not that much skill involved in leaving on a trans brake.
