Mark Wahlberg Recalls Saying Goodbye to His Mom Alma

Ойын-сауық

In a new interview with ‘Extra’s’ Jenn Lahmers, Mark Wahlberg opens up about his dramatic transformation (packing on 40 lbs.!) for his latest role in ‘Father Stu.’ Mark was in the middle of filming the movie when his mother Alma passed away, and he also gets candid about coping with the tough loss. ‘Father Stu’ hits theaters April 13.

Definitely a life changing experience to watch your mother leave this earthly world. I’ll never forget the last breath that my mother took. 😥

People ignore the very simple idea that experience is the only absolute, AUTHENTIC way of learning and growing - emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, socially. But, it does not matter how many generations come and go... It will never be any less true. Mark Wahlberg would have to be THE BEST example of this philosophy in its living form. There is no comparison between his former life as Marky Mark and the man we see today. I've just hit 45. When Mark was rapping I was 15. Could I be told? No. Was I a little sh*t? Yes. There are so many things I would so easily go back and just belt myself right across the face for. So many dear, generous people who helped me simply because they had enormous hearts and wanted to see me living contentedly... And, I didn't appreciate them. Not in the proper way. By now, I don't know whether or not some of them may or may not still be with us. I really hope they are. And I hope they know just how valuable their support was; how monumental their spirits were, and how much I really, truly appreciate them. 🙏🙏🙏

Yeah? Well, when a Vietnamese cab driver was teetering on the brink of death, his family had a tough time as well. They didn't know if he'd live, and they didn't know why this happened. You see, it wasn't an illness that attacked him..... He was a healthy man when he left for work that day, and then he was fighting for his life the next time that they saw him. You remember him, Marky Mark? Your mom wasn't a good mom if she never taught you that its wrong to brutalize people.

@@russelllevinton6312 I mean to say that I'm not his judge. Look, he's had the platform to speak against violence and hate crime. Has he? His movies down the list are violent in nature. I know it doesn't mean he's still violent but it shows to me that he's not sorry. The man that he beat up has forgiven him. He's a better person than Marky Mark. It doesn't matter my opinion. Opinion btw not judgement.
