Mark Titus - OSU bench-warmer extraordinaire!

Спорт

Mark Titus was a star in his high school playing days. He dreamed of playing at The Ohio State University and enrolled there and began with the OSU basketball team as the team manager. Later he was asked to walk-on after some players got hurt. This is a moving story about Mark's four years at Ohio State and how he made the most out of his time on the "end of the bench", including maintaining a blog with a humorous view of his situation, making wildly popular t-shirts which sold briskly and generated $30k for a foundation for kids with terminal illnesses.
Mark is a great role model and encouragement to ANYBODY who feels like they have not achieved their dreams. He truly made lemonade out of lemons. Enjoy!
Note the goofy faces Titus makes over coach Thad Matta's shoulder during Matta's interview on the floor after OSU won the Big Ten Tourney. Even without playing he found a way to have more fun!

I don’t really watch that much college basketball but I listen to One Shining Podcast because of Titus. It’s funny, but 8 years after this was made and Titus might be the second most known person on this team other than Evan Turner.

Love Titus. Didn't give a shit about college ball in all honesty, listening to "T'd Up" and watching this years tournament really got me into it, especially since the NBA is officially a two team league. Keep it up Mark, you've converted an NBA fan

Coaches are clowns. They put a player in for 7 Seconds of a 17-point win? And then pretend like they did him a favor?

Uhhh. OK. He still sounds like Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It's called an observation. Dude is a great player and can't wait to see him in the NBA. U hear Titus on The BS Report yesterday talking about The Villian? Good stuff...no joke.
