If you don't want a successful marriage, and also as in Rachel&Mark's case, a successful business, then sure, go and buy one. If you don't have children who need their father alive, then go for it. The best relationships are based on negotiation and as it is clear that Rachel has got the role of purse holder, the less physical and pecuniary risk involved. Smart.
