Normand is one of the few comics who seems to be in the loop with how the public perceives all these comedians and podcasters. He’s constantly referencing Schaub publicly, he calls out Rogan for his fake laughs and constantly missing jokes, and he knows Khalyla is a toxic mess that brings Bobby down. He’s pretty in the loop.

@rodriga1985 Every relationship is essentially a business relationship when you boil it down. Bobby brings money and success. She brings 'making him feel loved'. It's not authentic, but realistically, it's the best Bobby is going to get. He could get a new girl, but as a 51 year old, overweight, Korean drug addict, who essentially makes all his money through self flagellation and humiliation, it's just going to be an alternative version of Kalila. He should just bite the bullet and leave, eat the pain, and accept the isolation. But I don't blame him for staying. Fake love can feel better than no love at all.

I think we have all been stuck in toxic relationships for a long time and when we leave,we’re like “how embarrassing wtf did I delay the freedoms and peace” and when we see someone else stuck.. it’s hard not to be like “brooo/sis/whoever, seriouslyypu can’t see the forest for the trees and I promise it’s better to leave the toxicity. I know it feels like you can’t but we’re all here for you. Choose you!” But it is also not our place and we don’t know everything no matter how much we think we do. And people don’t change/make changes in their life until they see it and want to. So we kinda gotta watch him hit the bottom of it and just be there for him when he leaves.

Take notes because Bobby and Kalila are a case study for codependent relationships in which Kalila is the caretaker and Bobby is the care receiver. It’s why he would literally do anything for her, he feels like he owes her some thing when he really doesn’t and she’s been taking advantage of Bobby the entire time.he is clearly emotionally abused which is why he would Defend her, he doesn’t want to feel like the one person who’s “saving him” goes away

Yeah, she's very methodical. What's a good way to garner some traffic towards a fledgling podcast (Garbage Podcast Tuesday)? Ah let's take shots at a controversial, and universally disliked figure, who isn't exactly the brightest tool in the shed (Schaub.) He's too dumb to defend himself. And even if he tried, everyone will take our side. It'd be like taking candy from a baby. Its too easy. And plus Papa Rogan is gone to Texas, so burning this bridge won't be too detrimental. Too bad the narcissist forgot, or is so incapable of self reflection that she failed to take into account that she has more than a few skeletons in her closet herself. And when it backfired? "Oh come on it was just girly girl talk..." ugh what a gross human being 🤮

I like Bobby, but I think he doesn't want to face the reality, because he's afraid he would have to confront his (metaphorical) demons of addiction, as they would definitely pay him a visit (not literally ofc). Also I think Khalyla manipulated Bobby into agreeing into open relationship, because if she already was sleeping with different guys, and Bobby was not into s*x, then the break-up doesn't really mean anything practical in terms of their relationship, just a "name-change".

@@raidermaxx2324 Well, I am my 8th year on methadone programme, and that's not healthy thing to rely on someone else on YOUR addiction. Because then you're not sober because you want to, you are sober because that allows you to be with that person. That's the wrong way of looking at things, plus she acts like she's single and he's just clinging to the fleeting feeling of their relationship. If he thinks that she'll not move out once she'll find someone serious, then he will be force to confront his demons, which is not a good way to deal with them, because it's on "their" terms, not yours.

It's not popular to say but at some point eventually the victim has to take some measures to change their life and stand up for themselves! If there are kids involved then it's worse and the victim needs to protect the innocent kids above all else! I know a girl who was in a violent relationship for 5 years, everyone including me and her family did everything we could to help her including beating his worthless ass but she kept going back and excusing his behavior. One day she told me they were considering having a kid together! 😡 That was it for me! I told her the BF was pure evil and if she gave him a kid she was just as evil as he was! I said "we're done! Don't call or text me ever again until you've finally grown up and left this prick!". Thankfully she broke up with him a month later and thanked me for drawing a line in the sand for her! She's doing great now and I'm proud of the change she made as a human being! Abusers and bullies get away with what you let them get away with!
