Shaq was the baddest man on the planet in the NBA for a strong 5 years. I’m a diehard NBA fan and peak Shaq was the 2nd greatest player of all time behind only MJ. 1999-2000 was the greatest player of all time Diesel was unbelievable. In the modern era, he changed the game with defensive 3sec, allowed front court players to play zone, forced teams to implement the hack a shaq because he completely broke the NBA and made the NBA reinforce the rim/backboard after they did it years ago for Dawkins. The Diesel is so humble but he was #1 vs #2 player in the league Allen Iverson. Kobe was bad in both finals played, but Shaq backpack carried them! As a huge 76ers fan we knew in Philly Iverson would outplay Kobe who only shot a lousy 41% from the field considering he had Shaq drawing all the attention, but we also knew from the word go we had no chance with Shaq playing. Salute Diesel!
