I'd gotten hooked on his earlier work after hearing one of the albums, but it was the aeronautical chart artwork of all things that led me to buying a copy of STP and the rest is history. 😊
Easily as influential as (largely unknown) Dickie Betts, Clapton or Hendrix. MK's sound and composition are instantly recognizable. 'Sultans of Swing' is now a standard that proves a player's credibility...and 45-years later MK is still generating original and wonderful music...
