Mark Hill and Kelli Ellis at Ronati Look At Our Superb Suite of Grand Tour Ruins

Historically, a Grand Tour was a trip taken by young European aristocrats and upper-class individuals, most frequently during the 17th to 19th centuries, as an essential part of their educational and cultural experience. The Grand Tour replicas collected during their voyages could be such spectacular renderings, that they could elevate their new owner to a position of status.
A Suite of Three Models of Ruins from the Roman Forum, available from @adrianalanltd, depicts famous Corinthian architectural ruins crafted from Giallo Antico Marble. Their superior scale and quality indicate that they are of exhibition quality, as evidenced by a photograph taken in the Italian Court which was seen on display at the International Exhibition in London in 1862.
Since its inception in 2009, the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair has grown to become a foremost international showcase for art and antiques, as well as one of the most prestigious events on the London social calendar.
