What has Mark Golding offered to do for the people he is visiting now. People need physical assistance not a bag of talk. The country needs to come together it's not a government alone thing it's a natural disaster so it's everyone business . Agree with seeking overseas help. Everything else is just grandstanding. Even with the best of intentions, recovery is going to take a very long time. As much as JPS is always blameworthy, the damage is overwhelming, and even they deserve some grace. As a Jamaican-American, I can say Americans are just self-absorbed and condescending, and this is more apparent when they travel. Agree that Jamaica needs to be less dependent on tourism.
