I think this episode was filmed after episode 14, as you can see the toilet brush track cleaner Mark made in that episode at 12:04. Likewise, that wagon offcut at 16:39 looks to be a piece from the wagon that Mark used to make the track cleaner. Some creative kit-bashing by Mark with that toy boat. That model of Royal Scot at Wimbish looks the business! Definitely a Henry Greenly machine. Wonder if that railway is still going today.

I wonder if the model shop in High Holborn may have been Beatties? I used to go there back in the late 70's early 80's, must have been the best model shop in London then.

Daniel Gee It's an Austrian 760mm narrow gauge diesel. You're right, they're pretty cool.

hey mark. love the layout and the clever use of turning a bath toy into part of your layout. have you ever considered making it into a putt putt boat(pop pop boat)???????????????? there are many videos on youtube to help you just type in 'how to make a putt putt boat'

Hi I have my own model railway but I have noticed that the people on this show control thier model railway. That could be really helpfull for me if mine was like that. Does anybody know how to convert a hornby set to an RC controlled layout? PLEASE HELP

Interesting that the definition of kit bashing here is very different to other forms of model making where there is not a defined prototype.

Everywhere outside the US its called a football. considering you use your feet to play with it and not your hands (like in american football) it makes more sense to call a soccer ball a football.
