This is great! My 4 year old son's prayers often bring me to tears. He means everything he says to God. His heart always comes out. I learn what was important about his day and where he wants help from God. I want to pray like a child. Thank you again for another convicting message.

The reason satan or any demon cannot possess a believer is because we are already possessed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit residing within us did not become a factor until after Jesus's death and resurrection (John 20:22). Also some passages within the four Gospels and some commentary on them state that while Judas was a follower of Jesus he did not believe Jesus as the Messiah he claimed to be, his view of the Messiah was more consistent with that of the Modern day Judaism, he believed the Messiah to be mortal servant chosen by God who would re-establish the kingdom of Israel and bring about the Messianic Age. In other words, Judas never believed or had faith that Jesus was God.

Question, as it pertains to believers having demons or demonic possession: how do we view the time Jesus said to Peter, " get behind me Satan"?

My kid is that way with his fever 🥵 😅

A person who is born of God cannot have demon possession however, satan and his influence do come and can bring oppression (Demonic influence/control/torment) into a life of a believer.
