Created in 1977, The World's Strongest Man™ has become the premier event in strength athletics. For over 30 years, the strongest men on the planet have come together in a series of unique and amazing tests of strength to determine The World's Strongest Man. The competition has travelled to stunning and varied locations such as Zambia, Iceland, Mauritius, Malaysia, Morocco, China and the USA.
For over three decades The World's Strongest Man has tested the limits of human strength, power, and endurance. The best strongmen on the planet and the most demanding challenges including Fingal's Fingers, Truck Pull, Dead Lift, Giant Farmers Walk, Plane Pull and the Atlas Stones have made the event a highlight in the TV calendar and the show a family favourite with a worldwide audience of over 220 million people.

True. He is an atg but as many know when you look at the weights, events etc and the split between wsm and the other one (heavier and harder tbh) the top guys split and mariusz stayed at wsm. Hes probably 4 or 5 atg TBH. Big z and shaw are def ahead of him.

Mariusz was a true professional. Not just an athletic freak, but knew how to get the most out of every event. He wears raised shoes to make himself taller in the atlas stones, has 2 layers of cushion on his arms for the shield carry so it is more comfortable, used to baby oil his thighs to jack up the deadlift bar, etc etc.

@@dnegel9546 if you watch some deadlift events Mariusz did, especially car deadlifts, he would pull the bar to just over his knee, then use his leverage to slide the bar up his legs (which was easier with smooth baby oil thighs) and lockout. It's more technical but can help grind out some extra reps - something Mariusz was one of the best at!
