@@Joshua05005They are different characters because they are different weight classes with diff stats. Metal Peach and Mario are “heavyweight” versions and Cat/Tanooki are “lightweight” versions of Peach and Mario

Best roster in the history of Mario games.

This is objectively the best Mario spinoff game character roster for the simple fact it acknowledges both the main Mario series, Luigi’s Mansion, Donkey Kong Country, and Yoshi’s Island.

Toadsworth needs to be playable again. I have a bias towards older characters and it's a damn shame he hasn't appeared in any sort of other spin-off. Could you imagine how badass it would be for an elder like him to be in a high-paced game like Mario Kart?

Remember when Mario spinoff games had epic rosters? I'm certain many people would have very little complaints if they had a roster like this (with others like Rosalina and the Koopalings) for the next Mario Kart. I LOVED this game, probably the best story mode of any Mario Sports Game! I have so many memories of having a blast playing with family. They should do a new version for Switch!

*One of the best rosters ever* and it is still a known fact to this very day!

I’m so glad I grew up with this game and sometimes when I have friends over we play this. I always snag king k rool

Mario Party series really needs a bigger roster. In Super Mario Party my biggest problems with the roster is that Toad Toadette and Birdo are not playable, and in my opinion they should be playable in every single game in Mario Party series. I would also like to see in this game baby characters, Koopalings, Boom Boom, Pauline, Luma, Sprixie Princesses, Pianta, Noki, Petey Piranha, Wiggler, Blooper, Spike, and other underused characters in Mario Party series.

Mariokart loves Metal Mario, he's pretty likely from here on out. Heck, he got his own weight class where he acts like a middle-weight character in nearly very stat except for his actual weight stat, which is maxed. That's more thought than most characters. also, "Play as fan-favorite characters like Rosalina and Metal Mario!" was an actual ad I saw for Mariokart Arcade GP DX's latest update... guess who got in. PGP isn't a certainty, though, unless they keep MM's weight class and want him to share it with someone (it's the only reason she got into 8 to begin with). But imagine if a MK game had this roster... SEVENTY-ONE CHARACTERS...

@@AlmondMilkLake Well, Peachette and Metal Mario aren't as bad as Pink Gold Peach. Peachette was a power up with the Super Crown and is a reference to NSMBU Deluxe, same with Metal Mario, he was in Mario 64 as a power up. They both really have more of a purpose than just a clone.

All of these should be Mario Kart characters. Like with multicolored Dry Bones, Hammer bros, Toads, Koopa Troopas, Magikoopas, Kritters, Nokis, Piantas, and Paratroopas. They should add back in Petey Piranha. Add in Diddy Kong, and King K. Rool. The only ones I might not suggest are the Boo, Wiggler, and Blooper because the three have appeared as either Karts, or items. Also, NO MORE PINK GOLD PEACH, NINTENDO!!

I'd say if they brang back every chracter for a Mario Sluggers Deluxe they would most likely add Wendy Lemmy Larry Iggy Roy Morton Ludwig Rosalina Pauline Dry Bowser

Actually she did, Super Sluggers came out in 2008, Galaxy came out in 2007.

What I meant is that sluggers would have been in development when galaxy was released, so when the game was being made she didn't exist yet

She was in Mario Kart Wii though, which I think was in development before Sluggers.

If there's a sequel, hopefully there would be characters such as Rosalina, Dry Bowser, Pauline, Boom Boom, Pom Pom, Cappy, Tiara, The Broodals, Gooigi, E. Gadd, Polterpup, The Koopalings, The Tiki Tak Tribe, Lord Fredrik, King Bob-omb, Nabbit, Spike(both the Mario enemy and maybe Foreman Spike), DK. Junior(probably in 8-bit form), Para Bones, Captain Syrup, Tatanga, some WarioWare characters, and Dr. Mario, just to name a several.

If Rosalina, Lubba, Dry Bowser, Lumas, Pauline and the koopalings were here, this would rival Ultimate.

Mar1o 640 yeah this game has a lot of variety, I had a great memory of it. Even the pallet swaps have different stats! Edit: and there are a lot of captains.

This should be the next mariokart roaster but with a few new characters like E Gadd and Cappy

What about Dry Bowser? What about Rosalina? What about Luma and the Lumas? And what about Lubba?
