Rayman is everything you could think of a main character from a childhood game. He's funny, he's goofy, he's animated, he has that boy-ish teenager-ish way of moving and that fighting spirit. Also the way he is portrayed more mature and serious when he's away from home gives both the character and the player a sense time passage.

His return from hell

So at the end of the day, Rayman realizes that not ALL Rabbids are bad! And that's a good implementation from the DLC now! He understands that they are capable of change! Mario and Rayman seem to acknowledge each other's existence with merch of their own! It's a solid ending for Rayman! (Or a New Beginning? 👀) It's not much, but it is something for those two characters! Hopefully one day they'll properly meet in another game! 😊

Well at the start of the game and through the middle of it I was kind of thinking the DLC was meh and that rayman being included was a novelty, that final boss fight amd emding made it up and i was having a blast with it.

It's a shame that Mario and Rayman didn't interact each other.

This is the most meta sequel to the old Rayman Raving Rabbids spinoff trilogy I’ve ever seen, and its amazing how the DLC Story written for Rayman and the Rabbids reuniting and then working together as a team for the first time in years was made to mirror the rivalry and relationship between the two franchises as well as the rivalry and relationship between the two fandoms of those two franchises too, and I’m deducing that this DLC Story between Rayman and the Rabbids was meant to be some meta story of redemption and reconciliation to Rayman and the Rabbids learning to better get along with each other as well as becoming fast friends after all these years as they finally part on better terms with each other 0:27-4:20, so this is what it must be like for the two fandoms to reconcile their relationship with just as how Rayman and the Rabbids as two video game media franchises have learned to reconcile with each other too after everything that the rabbids had put rayman through in the past, and after everything they’ve been through in this DLC Adventure 15 years later from their spinoff trilogy’s conclusion in 2008 to this DLC sequel that came out in 2023 last year (as of 3-17-2024 of writing this comment of course). As a longtime Rayman Fan myself, I honestly thought back in the mid 2000's that they were delaying the Real Rayman 4, but after seeing how the Rabbids Go Home solo title came out in 2009 after that spinoff trilogy ended, I had almost given up hope on seeing another Rayman title until the UbiArt Rayman Games came around in the early 2010's, I played the first Rayman Raving Rabbids party game version on my PS2 years ago once, and I even played the 2.5D Platformer version of that game on my DS too of course, I enjoyed watching some of the Raving Rabbids series of slapstick viral videos once, but I did not care for their games, until I saw how this Mario + Rabbids sequel gave me a teaser glimpse of 3D Rayman returning in a Rabbids game of course, I almost thought of buying the Rayman Bundle of M+R: Sparks of Hope in digital download format but then I saw the download size of it, as well as the download size of it’s base game in it’s digital download format too, and decided to spend my digital currency on the first M+R in the digital download format since it had both MAR10 Day sales price drop, and because the digital download format of the first one’s base game had a low download size to save up on more console’s Micro SD Card storage space too, so now I’m just saving my physical currency for the physical version of this game for now, even though today is the last day of the MAR10 Day sales week (as of 3-17-2024 of still writing this comment), sigh… ah well… but at least I know now just how fun the Mario + Rabbids games are of course.
