Really sucks how nothing from this game made it into any of the remasters. Wouldve loved to see minigames like boo tag or maps like bowser pinball machine back.

The maps from Superstars were supposed to only be the N64 ones. As for the minigames, I guess they just forgot about them, or were waiting to use on a DLC that never came.

The soundtracks in these mini games is a huge factor about why it’s so enjoyable and satisfying to play

Some of the most creative games, especially with the characters being shrunk

I swear, Hedge Honcho was one of the intense mini games because of that bee. I got jumpscared so many times on that mini game.

The mini-games of mario party DS are fun like the card-matching game and having to get a photo of your friends to win.

I love the concept of this game that everyone is shrunken down to a miniature size and all the mini games and boards and such are based around that

i had such a facepalm moment when i realized i couldn't select this game as my favorite on mario party superstars in the profile setup

literally the definition of nostalgia for me. i’m disappointed now finding out there’s none of these in the new games. i just bought superstars and have been waiting for one of thesee to pop up 😫

Hutson Soft did an excellent job of giving that touch of indication to the Mario Party games, if Nesta company hadn't gone bankrupt, Nintendo's games would be a marvel.

Trace Cadets was very hard for me as a kid, I couldn’t figure out the shapes I had to draw or how to draw them on the checkerboard on the touch screen.

nice mini-game run it was worth watching

Some of these games made it into my nightmares because they just had that much of an effect on me. Camera Shy, Trash Landing, Crater Crawl, Flash and Dash, Mole Thrill (especially if you’ve seen those pirated videos, they’re pretty much what I thought happens if the mole catches you), Cheep Chump, and Short Fuse specifically. I miss Hudson.

Yeah, I kid you guys not when I say this, but back when I played Mario Party DS ((still do honestly for Nostalgia reasons)) on the study fall mini game, I managed to get the lowest possible record of 0 seconds!

I think they came up with the idea based on kids playing with their toys in different places.
