I played 9 & 10 and 10 is definitely inferior BUT, Bowser Party even if imbalanced is probably one of the best things they did in Mario Party’s history.

I feel like although 9 has better boards, 9 can be very frustrating (e.x. Bob-Omb Factory and Magma Mine are two of the worst boards in the series), so a group of casual and non-competitive people would prefer 10.

I think 10 felt more undertuned than 9 in every aspect, but Bowser Party is really fun. You actually get to feel like you're Bowser and that you have so much power

I'd love to see more Bowser Party, just hand off the GamePad to whoever got the next highest roll until everyone's gone

I honestly love this game BECAUSE of how much it entertained me. Me and my sis were in a bad place when we were able to play this games, so it really helped us, a shame we can't play it again

Same here. Although mostly I played Bowser Party.

The only reason MP 9 and 10 are hated is because of the boards. I love both of them, even the boards because these games are different than normal which is nice and the minigames are really good, including the boss minigames. The only bad thing really is that every party you play is over very quickly.

I love 9 but this one is bad. Bowser mode and Amiibo mode is ok but literally no effort went into this game. The normal mode is not fun as it is 9 but with zero effort and goes even faster for no good reason. The minigames and minigame modes are also better in 9.

The soundtrack, minigames and visuals were one of the best, the board's design was pretty good and could've worked. The problem was no rounds, no stars, no "real" items, no shop, dice only goes to 6, captain events were unbalanced, and minigames were worth way less since you could get minis worth like 5 first place wins just by being lucky

@@lucasmartinez5703 actually I think it is quite the opposite. The fact that each character has his own style of board and it plays like a proper Mario party is good. Plus you can play as Bowser in Amiibo mode and it is just as much fun as playing Bowser in Bowser mode. Only thing bad is you can't change the turn count. But at least there was some effort put into it unlike the normal game, which is 100% not fun

I would have LOVED seeing the 4 players seeing the salt rubbed in the wounds by seeing the number of spaces they would have needed to reach the end along with the empty vehicle

Can I just say that I absolutely love the editor? The random “HeLLOu!!” from Toad always cracks me up and sidequest videos just generally always make my day I LOVE U EDITOR!!!!

I remember first playing this game with some friends when one guy got it for his birthday. We spent a good while laughing at the warning to not hit others with the gamepad, thinking you'd have to be really stupid to do that 😂😂😂 You'll never guess what hit me in the mouth 10 seconds after

They did MP9, now it’s MP10, and it’s the Bowser Party mode they’re doing. This should be interesting. I’ve always been conflicted with this game, it’s Bascially just MP9, but more stale. Decent selection of mini games, but arguably worst Party mode than 9. Bowser’s Party is unique, but unbalanced for how broken Bowser is. Although, Sidequest doing this game is always gonna be a blast to watch. Also, Casey throwing the game pad to throw the dice blocks. He has never learn from their Wii Sports gameplay.

I played Mario Party 10 when I was younger, but playing it now I see some of the issues but the novel idea of Bowser Party has such means of expansion, and I wanna see more of it, but ironed out and balanced.

2:38 I 100%ed this game last month with the Gamecube controller. You have to have fast acting muscle memory for Very Hard story mode

I love this game even when so much people hate it, even through i never got to play it, i still think this game is good Here is a tip if you guys come back to mp10: spaces that move you foward nullify the effects of the space you will land. For example: landing in a "+3 foward" space and being thrown in a unlucky space will not activate the effect of the space

PRO TIP FOR WHOEVER PLAYS AS BOWSER NEXT TIME: in the slots minigame (Bowser's Sinister Slots), you want to try and get the same character's face three times! It activates the "win" function and throws 9 bullets bills towards that character, instead of just 3! I certainly wish the game would tell you this, though...

I was silently laughing to myself each time they chanted for bowser to roll a one in the homestretch since there is no one because it was replaced with bowser instantly catches up.

Fun fact, you can time the special dice block roulette to get what you want. The order that the special dice blocks are shown in is looped so after a second or two or three, the order repeats. you just have to find the rhythm, remember there’s a delay after you press a, and time it right.

Honestly love Boswer Party in this game, lots of flavorful minigames and it's fun to play something inherently unbalanced for one player vs four at times. There's a lot they could've done with that mode in a different mario party game so it's a shame that it never came back IMO. The hearts were a great addition, adds far more stakes in comparison to just running around collecting mini-stars. Honestly wish the whole game was just Bowser Party so they could've spent more time fleshing out the mode, it being the best part of these games. It also would have delineated itself from other Mario Party titles this way, but I guess mario's name in the marketing is just too strong lmao

Getting to be Bowser seems AWESOME! I love playing as villains! I've only played the modern Super Mario Party and Superstars, but from what I've seen, 10 definitely seems like the worst because it's NOT the traditional Mario Party and you're ALL stuck in car lol. But Bowser is cool!

I remember when I got my hands on Mario Party 10 for the first time. I pre-ordered it to get the Mario Amiibo. Me, my two brothers, my Mom, and my Dad all played Bowser Party as the first Mario Party 10 match. Such good memories!

I grew up with this game and loved it as a kid and having played the other games it’s definitely the worst. The memories I had with it and Bowser party though still make me want to replay it every once in a while.

I played this game with my brothers and we loved it. I was confused years later when people said this game sucked.

Man, I only ever played 10 once. It was at a high school graduation party, and the person who was hosting it went all out and rented one of those gamer trucks that had a mini gaming lounge in the back of it. We all wanted to play a good old fashioned game of Mario Party... But the only one they had was 10 because it was the newest at the time. We played a few rounds of Bowser Party, and quickly got bored of it, switching over to some fighting game (I think it was Injustice). Thinking back on it, I think that was the only time I saw a Wii U other than my own, despite most of my friends also being gamers, I was the only person in my friend group who actually owned a Wii U.

I will never forget one time I played this game with some friends at my college's video game club and we all won with one heart each.

Here it is the infamously bad Mario Party of the series (not worse than Island Tour or Top 100 but definitely up there). I will say that Bowser Party is one of the highlights of this game

I wasn’t a huge Mario Party kid, but I played 10 a few times at an after-school program (essentially daycare for kids that got out of school before their parents got out of work) and never really understood how it was so bad.

The second Mario Party game I played. (9 was first and imo better than this) The Bowser Party mode is just so funny. Bowser can reroll to get the car, and the chance of him getting the car is always a possible roll. (helper jr.) The Mario Party mode just felt like there were more ways to lose half your mini stars. Hell, even if last place lands on a bowser space or a bowser jr. space they still can lose half instead of letting them go or getting double mini stars like in 9.
