This should actually be the final boss. The antagonists teaming up. Both Bowser and Mario have a "dreamy" partner. It's really suitable for a final battle.

Yeah, but if the final boss went like this then there would have been no proper build up if they just decided to work together after that one cutscene. Plus, Bowser betraying antasma was to show character development.

6:22 One thing they never explicitly tell you is that for some reason the more you move left and right, the slower Mario gets. Eventually Bowser will catch up to Mario. This only happens in this fight, but not in subsequent Boss Battles...

i love how this was one of those battles where you still lose regardless of you winning the fight

Fun fact: The "SCREEEONK!" at 1:12 is a _Godzilla_ reference (that's Toho Co., Ltd.'s official onomatopoeia for the sound he makes, as depicted in various non-film media), thus foreshadowing the Giant Battles with Bowser to come later on. AlphaDream are fucking geniuses, is what I'm getting at.

Honestly, Dream Team really has the best bosses on average in this series out of all the games aint it? Like, if we forget Smoldergeist, even the early bosses were generally already interesting, so many creative attacks, good music.

I mostly like it cause of Antasma's bat clones swarming around Bowser and the way he attacks after you damage Bowser

I like how Bowser acknowledges that when Peach isn't safe in her custom better than her own room at her castle room at his castle... she's safer with Mario, after all she often gets kidnapped in her own place! 🤣🤣🤣

You can beat all the bosses really easily with 1 trick... *Only upgrade pow*

Reminds me of PiT when it took me over 90 minutes to beat Sunnycide because I refused to use special moves or actually perfecting my moves. But I do like when Mario & Luigi reach that boss that makes clear you arent in the tutorial anymore.

Ultra Master789 Look at his mouth. If his teeth are showing, then he’ll fake you out and punch from the other side. If his mouth is open, he’ll charge you right there.

Watching this makes it seem like the boss will take forever to beat but I learned it's much faster to just jump on bowser it takes way less time to beat him also if there's an antasma bat right in front of bowser jump on it and all the luiginiods will land on bowser landing twice more damage than the luiginary ball would alone

this boss is so hard for me i cant even dodge the attack where bowser punches me and i keep swinging my hammer early and late and the attack where he chases me as a spike ball i can get pass the fire trials but the last moment where he jumps at me it takes so much damage i die alot in this battle still cant today

I really hated this battle, it was extremely,long , and I beat every enemy I shall yet I still had to use easy mode to beat him.
