The 1st time I heard that tune it became ingrained in my brain in a way no other song have, love it ! Mario was sensational, James Mitchell was a 1-derful dancer and Rita is still one of our island's most valuable treasures. Blessings from San Juan PR 🇵🇷.

If Mario Lanza hadn’t died so young at age 38 in the 1950s, he would have been the mega singing superstar of all time. Still missed. Still has fans.

Mario is the mega superstar of that era. It seems there was nothing he couldn't do. Opera, showtunes, comedy, serious drama, Broadway and hymns. I can see he was much more talented than his bosses could figure how to manage. God gave him all that beautiful talent. He gave his audiences his everything! Mario was pure of heart and soul when he sang: A young artist with artistic integrity!

Thanks for posting this wonderful video of this movie. Never tire of watching the DVD & seldom shown movie, of it. I'm a long time fan of Mario Lanza and so enjoyed Rita Moreno's performance with him & following her career through the years. It is a fun movie filled with outstanding talent. It will brighten anyone's day.

Mario learned to dance in this film - the songs are perfectly suited to his voice and oh boy! what a looker!!!! He was fantastic and still very much missed.
