most of those are the worse sadly. wiiu/mk8 rainbow road is not even a rainbow, snes version is bad, n64 was bad originally. why not gamecube and ds versions? also i loved gba version, could jump on every corner and you see paper mario castle

To think that we have 5 Rainbow Roads in this game. From the first Rainbow Road from the SNES era, to the beautiful one from the Nintendo 64 that overlooks the city below, to this amazing Wii version here that takes us up into space!, then the 3DS one where we go across the moon and a bunch of planets, and finally the Mario Kart 8 one where were near MK8 TV Station's satellite. Truly this is just amazing. Sure it's to bad we couldn't get the other 3 as well. But oh well.

Wii Rainbow Road is a great way to end the DLC.

Overall, I think N64, 3DS, and Wii share the same spot as the best Rainbow Roads. They all have that feeling of a long journey’s end.

makes me think how much games have evolved in so many aspects. Can't wait to see else can be done in both MK and games in general. It hardly feels possible to go further, but devs always do

11:00 This 200CC track was very difficult, at least for me. Being able to get 3 stars in all the cups, a feeling of mission accomplished. Too bad it's already over :'I

Tbh, I really like Wii U Rainbow Road. Turning it into a space station was a really cool idea and makes me wonder what they are going to do with the next game’s Rainbow Road. However, it doesn’t beat 3DS Rainbow Road, it was a magical experience on the 3DS and still is on the Switch!

Rainbow Road is unbelievable.

RIP all my hopes for seeing GCN rainbow road. I miss you good friend.

Wii literally has 11/16 of its nitros in the game, it definitely got a lot of representation. But I agree that DS should've gotten a few more tracks

I’ve grew up with SNES Rainbow Road for years, but the other rainbow roads are good too I mainly just like the snes version because of the cool star thwomps I wished Nintendo used them in other rainbow road tracks.

I have to say GCN because of the music and city (Say Chicago what do you say?!)

As I thought the music of Rainbow Road of will is really great.

Before Wave 6 of the DLC i was hoping to sing after a long time "it's called a road, it's called a rainbow road, it is a road that you go"

We need one more DLC pack, giving us the GBA, CGN and DS rainbows roads, along with one more new Rainbow road, one that has you do a single lap but you have to do all 8 rainbows roads, each one melting into the next. So you start on SNES, it melts into N64, GBA, GCN, DS, Wii, 3DS and ending with MK8

I would like to see an update for your evolution of mario kart rainbow road with the booster courses

SNES is my favorite honestly because they added maybe a bit too many guardrails on the wii one

Imagine if Nintendo let us create our own cups we could have had a rainbow cup consisting of all rainbow road courses im Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Idea: Retro Rainbow Cup Race 1: SNES Rainbow Road Race 2: N64 Rainbow Road Race 3: Wii Rainbow Road Final Race: 3DS Rainbow Road (They all go in order of OG release dates.)

What About SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 Gameplay Or Walkthrough

The only ones that did not return were the ones from GBA, GCN And DS all the other courses came back SNES Rainbow Road had the highest number of times it returned

I agree. For me it hits all of my checkpoints on a good rainbow road: 1) Does the music sound ethereal enough to really feel like the last track in the main "story"? 2) Is the track difficult without being cheaty? 3) and Does it clearly take place in the sky/space. Of all of the Rainbow Road tracks, 3DS gets 10/10 on all. The Snes, GBA, N64, and DS versions aren't difficult. The N64 does have the music part. The GCN version is difficult, and takes place in the sky, but the music doesn't hit as hard. There's arcade one's that I don't know much about. And the WiiU version has all three, but the music is about 7/10 for me.

Musically, yes, (mainly because of my bias coming from the Juno Songs version), but the best one for gameplay is 64 (8/DX variant)

The N64 Rainbow Road is my most favorite and the Wii Rainbow Road is my least favorite

I hate that they made MKWII rainbow road noob friendly lol. People falling off the map were some of the best memories i had as a kid playing against friends.

This might be a SUPER unpopular opinion, but honestly, WII Rainbow Road is absolute dog compared to others. Never understood why it gets so much praise.
