I love how mario kart has a hard mode now basically, its great

A trick I learned a while back but tried today for the first time is that tilt controls MAX OUT HANDLING. Tournament players use that so that you can use a really low handling character and vehicle, and manage to make those turns. You’ll want to use a tilt/joystick hybrid, but that really works.

Mank, I played mk8 deluxe and I had the most problem with 200cc. I constantly keep getting 2nd place at the last race, which cancels my 3 stars. This also made me want to break my pro controller. Ever since I watched your videos, I got way better at mariocart 8 deluxe ever since. I now have all 3 stars on all the cups on each cc and I just want to thank you so much for bringing your tips, and your amazing smuggle guides.

I love 200cc, it adds a challenge to the game and all the other classes when you get good become so slow and boring. Even though I’m not that good a 200cc, I consider myself a decent player. Your tips are pretty spot on and it helped me a lot.

Just started playing MK8, just finished all of 50cc and started 100cc very pleased to see this one has a 200cc, the last game I played was double dash which was my favorite one personally. Thank you for all the tips, will start working on the ones applicable to lower difficulties to get used to them.

This is amazing! Truly showed me how little I know about the game. Just by switching character and kart, and gently applying the brakes, went from third place to first (with three starts) in the first attempt. Thanks thanks thanks!

There were actually a few things I didn't know earlier, like star-hopping and braking on jumps and Bullet Bill brake drifting. Really good job!

Thanks for the tips, Mankalor, I actually got a 3 star ranking on all of the cups on 200cc, on the wii u, thanks to this, I was struggling, now I have finally beaten my first ever nintendo game, for the first time in 8 years, since it came out on the wii u in 2014, I beat it like 2 months ago.

Steering-cut is one I know, use the smart steering when start, when you need to go off the track or go on to the corner for shortcut, turn off the smart steering, after that, turn back back on the smart steering and finish the race.

I've been watching couple of your videos today and I really like them. Subscribed and whitelisted.

Very helpful! I found it interesting that inward drift bikes couldn't hop to align with the turn. I guess that inward drifting goes along with the heavier and faster combination, where you use it if you know how to play 200cc well.

@@X-manGaming I actually would like help lol I’m actually playing right now and the set up I have is baby daisy,pipe frame,roller wheels and any glider it’s kind of helping a bit but I want control over turns. I bump into walls or just fall of the map in places I’ve never fell before lol.

Yes, I find it's easier without and you can get faster without it too. And if you're having trouble with speed and control, have your thumb over the accelerator and brake buttons, and you can drift, drive and brake at the same time, all it takes is practice. And you'll have fun!

I remember a few years ago my mate was waffling on about his baby rosalina strat like he was an expert. At the school lunch he brought his switch with Mariokart and I requested we do 200cc because its fun and challenging. He said no and wanted to do 50cc, truely an expert

First time I tried 200cc "OMG" When I use brakes "i never knew that 200cc could be as easy as 50cc"

whenever i play 200cc on mk deluxe, i use larry with the streetle car, azure roller tires, and the cloud glider. It provides really good handling and tracion, while also supplying good acceleration. :)

I always use the big blue shortcut that you taught me.
