It's the 90's. When Sonic was born, Sega used Sonic to kick Nintendo out of the throne it have ruled since 1985. In 90's SEGA and Nintendo were rival companies trying to be the best of the best game producers. In 2008 however, their war ended and they united these two rivals together. Hudson soft is a mole in this, because it has made party games to both Mario and Sonic games.

It’s nice to see Mario and Sonic as friends instead of enemies. I know they were enemies before, but they ended their fighting against each other and became friends. Friendship is very important and I feel happy that Nintendo and Sega are working together to make this possible!

It's mainly in the comics that they had hostile moments, but after it was resolved they were neutral again. Blaze is someone whom you must earn your trust with, meanwhile Rouge is flipped to the other end of the spectrum who would do anything for her own goals (unless it's Shadow or Omega).

I imagine their relationship is similar to Knux and Rouge. They don't exactly LIKE each other (in that they're fundamentally on opposite ends of what they want), but they're on good terms when Rouge ISN'T trying to steal gems

Well, I knew that. But it's not technically cannon. All SEGA admitted to was that Silver was based off trunks meanwhile Shadow was based off Vegeta :/ They also stated that they'll never reveal Silvers real heritage and that Shadow is a most likely canidate seeing how Shadow is Sir lancealot in Sonic and the Black knight (And Silver is his son- litterally. He plays Sir Lancealot's son- Sir Galahad) but they havent yet confirmed that Shadow's his father

I really wished they made a Luigi and Daisy special victory animation. If there was, how do you guys think their victory animation and pose will look like? Also, what would a Cream and Blaze victory animation would look like?

Criticize any of them if you like, but I am going to list of some of the new special animations I think I like to be confirmed: Luigi and Daisy (sweet pair) Luigi and Shadow (rivals) Yoshi and Tails (friendly rivals) Donkey Kong and Silver (friendly rivals) Jet and Wave (old friends) Tails and Wave (old rivals) Waluigi and Wave (neutral pair) (purple pair) Diddy and Sticks (friendly rivals) (jungle skilled pair) Toad and Cream (short pair) (originally supporting characters) Daisy and Amy (alternate girl pair) Peach and Blaze (alternate girl pair) Rouge and Wave (neutral pair) Knuckles and Storm (old rivals)

When they make another installment of the Mario & Sonic series, they’ve got to have those animations, without making the new characters exclusive for one event, especially the main characters who don’t have a special animation.

Wow.. So they can reference sonic riders with jet and sonic and as well as sonic 06 with silver and shadow, but they can't do one of sonic and shadow? That's sad.. Sonic and shadow was the most iconic type battles in degas history. Aside from metal sonic that is. And speaking of which, how come they haven't done one of sonic and metal sonic?

To be fair they also skipped Mario/Wario, Luigi/Daisy, Mario/Yoshi among others for both sides. So either way it's a mystery why both Mario fans and Sonic fans didn't get those missing animations.

Hmm...they keep forgetting the special animation between Luigi and Daisy....I think the company better smart up that's the second time, they must be rushing of getting the game completed and finished.

I love Sonic and Eggman's Better, it's hilarious, I don't know why, maybe it's because Sonic jumped on Eggman's head and that made Eggman angry, it's funny either way

Sonic Forces Amy to stfu. Sonic Forces Tails to fight Perfect Chaos just to prove he's not a scaredy cat. Sonic Forces Mario to cheat on Peach, but bring the girl to a restaurant Peach is at. Sonic Forces Luigi to go into a haunted house without his Poltergust 5000. I think I'll stop before I die...

Wasn't expecting the Knuckles and Vector bromance. I should play Knuckles Chaotix sometime.

Imma Xehanort well I mean they were part of a team together before Knuckles went to do his own thing and met up with Sonic so of course the bond will still be there.

I do like this, reminds you that the characters' roles in the games aren't as different as you'd think.

It's just amazing to see these characters interact with each other
