As far as I know this is the first ever recording of someone beating shadow in this mod without cheats.
Shoutouts to @CybershellNightmareMode, his VOD helped me figure out the last part.

Yooo this is huge. I made a video showing Egg Dragoon is possible, someone else proved Metal Sonic was possible, and now Shadow has been done for real. The only roadblock to beating the game fully with this mod is Silver I think. Hopefully one day someone finds away to beat him

How did you get him to stand still during the power up??? Did you just go backwards or was it an alignment thing after his chaos spear?

I went backwards and tried to move as little as possible, shadow only moves in that state when mario moves, which is great, but mario also moves while doing most of his attacks, so I lost some runs trying to align this perfectly. This was my 4th or 5th attempt.
