Surprisingly, when this TAS did come out in late 2007, so many people on these forums which were used to talk about games went crazy and gave this massive support. It took them around 14 years (or more i forgot) to finally reach this point where they can actually say its possible to beat the greatest game on the N64 and one of the best in the world without a single star. But there still was people calling it fake ofc.

You can open it with 0 stars. The problem is that it teleports you back to the beginning of the stairs each time you're like halfway there. So you get enormous speed and just pass through the teleport trigger without teleporting

Yorvin Luna I was playing this on project64 and I was using the blj anywhere code and rapid blj mode to the 30 Star meaning I got thru the door but didn’t clip thru dire dire docks.

Just imagine having an elaborate plan to kidnap a royal, all other attempts have failed. But this time, instead of taking the princess to your castle, you took over her castle and the power running it. You hide these power stars in paintings, all of which are placed in perfect places so that if anybody were to attempt to try and take the stars back and save the princess, it would be close to impossible to do so. But then, while you're planning on what to do next, all you see is that the hero has came to one of your three personal paintings in record time. "How has he gotten enough of the stars to get to my painting?" You ask, seeing him going at speed unbelievable. He defeats you, but at least you have two other paintings, right? You have a sense of relief, as you know it would take the hero an hour to make it to your second painting, right? That sense of relief and safeness? That was false, as you see that godlike man with the red hat coming back at you, only to defeat you again. This is your final stand now. As you're now in your final painting, you kept the princess in your last one, because nobody would be able to come here, and if they did manage to get past all of your traps, you would be able to end the hero trying to save the princess. But as you're thinking, here comes Mario. You start to panic. You know that you're a goner, and that the princess is going to be saved. And as you're helplessly thrown into a bomb to die, the last thing you hear is from that plumber. He says the last thing you will ever hear, "So long, gay Bowser." You feel humiliated. Right as you explode, he just insulted you. But alas, he saved the princess once again, but this time he was high on crack and found out how to do a BLJ. Edit: Holy shit, I forgot that I made this Shakespearean masterpiece based on a 0 star run.

man, I remember trying speed running when I was like 7-8 years old, and the best I was able to do was a 16 star run 💀 I find it almost impossible to believe that it’s been over a decade since I last watched this video.
