As bad as this is, it’s easy to forget we just had two 6-1 home stands, including a series win against Houston and a series sweep against Texas. This is a return to the mean, it’s bad, of course, but it’s not the end of the world. Houston won’t stay this hot all year either. We’ve still got 7 games against the Angels coming up in the back half of July, we go 6-1 against them and we’re right back in it like we never left.
Mariners are doing what Mariners do . Early fast start and fade Or bad start then they close the gap but don't quite get the job done. The front office never goes all in. I anticipate and fully accept this team will never be in a world series in my lifetime
