Funny that this is almost the exact same thing I did about a year ago. Only thing I did different was to make the little piece at the end as a space in the middle and made a central console to store things and got two swivel mechanic stools from Princess Auto left off the roller wheels bolted the base to the floor for fishing seats.

👍this is a great video. of all the vids i watched, im copying your floor steps, already cut the wood&carpet today, but snow tomorrow, too cold for adhesive so i cant finish👎im putting 1" pipe insulation around it for snug fit, i cut it slightly smaller than stock floor.

i see you were having a little trouble getting the carpet to stay glued down. Next time wait for 30 seconds after you spray the glue. The glue gets more sticky with the air hitting it. Good video, Good build, Think I'm going to built one for me and my son. thank you for posting the video!

It’s just a half an inch wood The coming Standard 8 feet in any hardwood store Canadian tire or whatever depends where you live

Hi, cool stuff you make! I have a seahawk 3 and thinking of buying a mariner 4. Which do you think is better between mariner and seahawk with regards to durability?

Yes Mariner it’s 100 time better

Seahawk is basically a toy, Mariner is much stronger and have no problem with a small outboard engine, i run it with a 2HP outboard engine, the reason i chose outboard engine is with 5l gasoline you can go all day, battery has to short usage and to long charging for my use.

I don’t knee about Ontario but here in Alberta you don’t need nothing because it’s electric boat. And the boat is really good in the lake

Is there a reason why you put the new floor over the one it came with? Why not just replace old with new? Or is it not sturdy enough
