Hi Michael, same tank, had it for several years now. I cut out the hidden filter wall to get more actual tank space, then connected a small external canister filter and a mini spray bar. Stuck a Fluval Nano light on it and it’s now home to my cherry shrimp colony.

I have the exact same tank. The only complaint I had was the.glass lid. I put a handle on it to make it easier to feed the fish. Great little tank 👍

I have the same setup. Had no issues with it. I’ve since upgraded to a 55 gallon. Keeping the 5 gallon for a spare because I can’t seem to part with it.

Not louder than any other sponge. But an Aquarium Co Op Sponge filter is better.

Hey Mike, as I said on Facebook I have that same tank for my daughters betta. It’s been up and running for 2 years with no issue. The only thing I don’t like about it is the plastic cover over the “hidden filter” part. It just lays on there and gets knocked off more than I care when moving the lid to feed or maintenance. Also, for her betta, the lowest flow on the pump was too much. I super glued a piece of filter to the output and that significantly reduced the flow. Good luck to you and wicket with it!

As a woman, with all that women and suffrogettes went through to try and get voting rights, and then ability to get jobs, and earn money etc., even to be able to do our own banking and own things without it being in a father or husband's name, ability to get college education... it's horrible to see our rights taken away. Inevitably someone's gonna misinterpret what u said, and inject their own fears and ignorant, misinformed opinions into it. Then someone who is a loyal subscriber and fan of ur channel is gonna get their feelings hurt in the comment section and unsubscribe.. They have to hear these ppls uneducated opinions on something they kno nothing about in so many other aspects of their lives, and then the hobby they turn to to escape hateful ppl and find peace gets disrupted by someone's ignorant opinion turning a simple question into something completely different and ugly!🤦‍♂️

Sweet little tank! Wicket should be very pleased 🤗 My thoughts on the man who identifies with being a woman. Then competing against women in sports? NO! IT'S WRONG! He may think he's a woman ~ he's still a man 🙄. It's not offensive to point out the obvious! The bigger picture here is the fact that he wants to be accepted as a woman and we should welcome him ..... her with open arms and congratulate her for winning. I can't do that! I can accept her as a gal pal. But, competing against women with a male body ~ she's like taking illegal steroids!

I agree 100%. If someone identifies as whatever, I don't care, but a woman who has an actual mans body should not compete against woman.

Most transgender people say the are none binery, meaning dues not identify as either sex. Now taking that into consideration, I believe they can not compete in a competitive spot in either male of female. also with saying that I believe they should have the own competitive class. None binery Class. Tank looks nice, but that filter not able to come out would bother me some.

mike! buddy ol'pal . i got the petsmart brand portrait glass tank 1/2 price sale. of coarse. the lid and lights not so good. but it is perfect for betta's. .... now as we go to the world in the void.if your born with a tallywacker your a man. no if ands or buts....lol. i said butt. if your born with overies and can potentionaly birth a child. your a woman. now if your a sh!t male athlete, then reguardless of your mind set. you do not compete against women. just say'in . .. let's go br@ndon.. some times i amaze myself. stay well

Love the man knife! But sad to see so many ignorant comments about transgender athletes, and trans people generally. Trans athletes face a lot of barriers to participation, and very strict rules. Personally, I believe that any athlete who follows the rules should be allowed to compete. I also believe it would be good for people to learn more about what life is like for trans people instead of making hateful comments.
