Could I use Honda generator 2200 to power this air conditioner?

Yes. You would plug directly into your shore power outlet. And run all of your AC.

However you if you wanted to run another AC appliance e.g microwave,coffee maker sandwich maker. you will have to shut down your Air Conditioner or you will trip a breaker.

Have you been happy with this unit? I've been looking at this one and the MarineAire 16k and undecided.

@@sysublime5091 I have 3 separate units. Two 16k (cockpit & salon) and one 8k unit (master bedroom). I replaced the cockpit 16k already with the marinaire and purchased the 9k to replace the 8k unit. The salon 16k is still working fine so no need to spend more $$$ then I need to. So far so good with the new 16k in the cockpit.... blowing out freezing cold air.
