Ikr, I honestly didn't expect to like this album that much based on the first singles. While I respect and understand the political themes and love the energy, it just feels a bit too "on the nose" and wordy for me personally. Then I heard this song, Goodbye, and Pandora's Box and now this album is one of my favorites.

When I heard “End of the Earth” from LOVE+FEAR, while I was at the gym, I RANNNNN to the lockers because I started bawling 😭!!!! NOW with this song, I cried immediately when you said “til somebody takes their life” You understand the weight men carry, to put up appearances and hold back emotions. I appreciate you so much for saying what NEEDS to be said with understanding and compassion. Thank you 🙏🏽

I know right, only Marina's music can make us feel all the ups and downs of life like an ethereal "ancient dream" in the modern land. I remember trying not to cry even though I was depressed as hell in schools, until I met my teacher who was so kind like Marina and said the exact same thing. Now I'm at ease with my emotion and I sure hope everyone can appreciate our nature and not put so much weight on being tough and strong all the time. Wishing you and everyone in the comment section the best, knowing that you can always find the ease to cry as people who love you will truly be kind.

That's interesting, I interpreted this song as saying we are ALL highly emotional people. That part of being human is to be highly emotional (from the line "Emotions are a part of our design"). I'm not saying this to discount your interpretation, just that I find it interesting because I actually hadn't even considered your interpretation.

Sorry to hear your life has been hard and I hope it gets easier for you soon! It really is hard to feel everything so strongly but with time and effort you can learn to control how much your emotions affect your behavior and enjoy them without them getting too overwhelming. It's so sad that we are so often judged if we don't hide our emotions. Try to do what ever you can to find other people who will accept you just as you are. I'm sorry to tell you this but hiding our emotions or isolating ourselves truly only makes things worse for us. There are many other people like us around, just try to find them. Thank you for trying to keep a good attitude and staying so motivated to improve yourself despite your depression.. I know it can be so impossibly hard sometimes. I sincerely hope you all the best!

The part of when someone takes their life brought me back to someone that I didn't know I was going to love so dearly took his own life because depression won his war. I've learned that no pain is small, no pain is to be ignored, and no pain is to underestimated. The worse thing that happened was that he was alone and no one lifted the world from his shoulders for one minute for him to breathe and realize that life wasn't just suffering. It's beyond devastating when someone decides that the best decision to make is to run away from the pain because its shadow grows more and more until you no longer see the way forth and the more this issue gets put out there, the more lives can be saved. It's not just a person that gets saved, it's their whole world that keeps revolving because someone was there for them.

the ancient dream that the album brings is to feel your own feelings, and remove the mask that society want/forces us to use, be a true version of self! Marina thank you for being an example of pure expression! Love you, please come to Brazil!!!!
