Okay so no one talks about Yota. She has an album titled Hazy Paradise and it’s truly one of the best albums to jam to. Good one to drive to also. You’re review was awesome. You have a great vibe.

So cool when a dude listens to Marina and vibes to what she’s saying. And you’re right. She’s not just another pop star. One of my favorite lyrics from this album is from Purge the Poison when she says, “A place so corrupt where angels’ flesh and blood is sold”

Definitely do more Marina if you haven’t heard her other albums. I would recommend an album but I couldn’t pick one, they’re all good

There is a MV for Venus Fly Trap. I love it, very colorful and retro. And I think it suits the song, plus it's got some fun little references for people who listened to Electra Heart.

Lana and Marina used to actually be friends, but with them living so far away from each other and also with the “question for the culture” controversy with Lana in 2020 Marina stopped following Lana and they don’t seem to be friends anymore. Theres a massive overlap in both their fan bases, so you finding the similarities isn’t just you lol

marina’s lyrics have always meant so much to me, i love to see someone else enjoying them in real time. that’s an awfully cute dog you have btw!

37:07 About her song "Hollywood", my interpretation is that she's obsessed with America from a repulsion point of view (though she likes some aspects of american culture, and so do I), and that she doesn't belong, so I feel it's the other way round...
