I've watched this sequence so many times, the "GOJOU-KUNNNN" *pant pant* always cracks me up

The real reason Marin is popular is not just because she's a gyaru. It's because she puts in her own effort into starting a relationship which is extremely rare and appreciated. All we want is to have someone take interest in us for once. :,(

This sequence had me dying the first time I saw it, especially the shot of her in the gym just screaming at the top of her lungs.

Just finished the show. Definitely and entirely worth each minute.

It is pretty adorable that in order to protect Marin he was completely willing to give her up

I did the same with a girl in highschool. We were getting really, really well and both of us were really good at math. We even went to some kind of math contests in highschool together. Some classmates started to make fun of the fact that we were very friendly with each other so I simply got really cold with her. I was a really easy target for bullies and I didn't want to have her go through something like that. I knew I couldn't protect her in any way if some of my classmates started to make jokes about us (there were actually 2 guys who enjoyed making me feel embarrassed). I still regret for the fact that I let those losers get to me. I shouldn't have cared about what they said. But I was a shy and insecure teenager back then. I wonder what she is doing nowadays. This was like 20 years ago.

Also, I'm sorry to hear that they teased you, I will be honest, having those doubts about your own worth in the dynamic of a relationship is a real killer. Not that your problem was esteem-related or anything (so much as I can glean from what you said). That said, you get me, and I'm sorry that people didn't treat you better. You sound like a kind soul though, I hope you found someone to have in your company and someone you can be company for. If not, no doubt that will happen someday. :)

@@drakesmith471 Actually I didn't and it won't. 🙂 And I got to the point to accept my life as it is (being single). Christ has other plans with me. 🙂 But don't think that my life is bad. I have a job I really love (I'm a software engineer) and I get payed really well for it. I'm in my mid 30s and I hope next year I'll finish paying my only loan from the bank (taken to buy my current apartment). So there are some good things in my life. Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

I think the people most capable of being with others anyways are those who can handle being alone. That said though, I don't want that to sound like what's happened with you is bad, if you can find happiness in it, then it's good by you and that's what matters. Nice on the diligence of bill paying. Also, sounds like a fun career. Regarding the name, I had to ask, do you play the game? Years ago, when I was typing my real name in Word it will autocorrect to Saurian. It sounded pretty cool back then but I didn't know what it means. So I stuck with it.

interesting thing about Gojo that's absurdly understated is that he has a lot in common with Batman. Gojo: lost both parents very early, is from a really rich family, raised by a father-figure, learned his craft by a father-figure, was sad, socially awkward, issues with people, inherited/will inherit a lot of money & a very profitable family business, & hangs out with great looking girls. Even better for Gojo is that he's seemingly over his dead parents & will get to be happy without the Batman issues. So Gojo almost gets to be like a happy Bruce Waynr
