It is an indirect tax which has subsumed many erstwhile indirect taxes like VAT, CST, Service Tax, Central excise etc. and now you can compare the difference between GST and earlier indirect taxes!! Monuse... Very simple the previous service sector tax was 15% and now it's 18%. GST rates are High!!! When GST hits the table it says like 'GST aims for one nation one tax and one market' I think you ( Mr.Goodfornothing) got something!!🙊

Primarily, the consumer should be aware of what is GST and what are its benefits for him/her as a consumer. Pay only the price mentioned on MRP. Remember, at the central level, all these duties have been subsumed -- central excise duty, additional excise duty, service tax, additional customs duty - Countervailing duty and special additional duty of customs. At the state level the state value added tax/sales tax, entertainment tax (other than the tax levied by the local bodies), central sales tax (levied by the Centre and collected by the States), octroi and entry tax, purchase tax, luxury tax, and taxes on lottery, betting and gambling have been absorbed. Suffice it to say, there is no "tax on tax" anymore!

ശെരിക്കും ജനങ്ങൾ പ്രതികരിക്കണം എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന , പറയാൻ കഴിയാതെ മനസ്സിൽ ഒതിക്കി നിർത്തിയ കാര്യങ്ങൽ ആണ് മറിമായം പ്രമേയം ആക്കുന്നത് എന്നതാണ് ഈ പരിപാടി ഇത്ര ജനകീയം ആകാൻ കാരണം. പക്ഷേ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒക്കെ പച്ചയായി വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും അഴിമതിയും കൈക്കൂലിയും ഒരു മാറ്റവും ഇല്ലാതെ തുടരുന്നു. അതുപോലെ സാധാരണ കാരന് സർകാർ സേവനങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോഴും കണക്ക് തന്നെ. ഉളുപ്പില്ലാത്ത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാർ. ഇവരെ ഇനി പൂട്ടണം എങ്കിൽ 2 കാര്യങ്ങൽ വേണ്ടിവരും. ഒന്ന് വിജിലൻസ് വിഭാഗം മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട രീതിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കണം. ഇപ്പൊൾ വല്ലപ്പോഴും ഒരു ഇര വീണാൽ ആയി. അതുപോര ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അവർക്ക് സേവനം ലഭിക്കേണ്ട സ്ഥലത്ത് തന്നെ സ്വതന്ത്രമായ വിജിലൻസ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് work ചെയ്യണം. ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് appol തന്നെ പരാതിപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയണം. കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ muftiyil വിജിലൻസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ വിന്ന്യസിക്കണം. സേവനങ്ങൾ നിശ്ചിത സമയത്ത് ലഭിക്കാതെ വന്നാൽ പരാതിപ്പെടാ നും പരാതി genuine ആണെങ്കിൽ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെതിരെ നടപടി എടുക്കാനും കഴിയണം. എങ്കിലേ ഇത് അവസാനിക്കൂ. സേവനം ഔദാര്യം അല്ല, ജനങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കുന്ന നികുതി പണം ആണ് ഇവർക്ക് ശമ്പളമായി നൽകുന്നത്. അത് പറയാൻ ജനത്തിന് അധികാരം ഉണ്ടാകണം. ഇത് ആളുകൾ question ചെയ്താൽ അവരുടെ ജോലി തടസ്സ പ്പെടുതി പരാതിക്കാരന് എതിരെ അല്ലേ കേസ് എടുക്കുന്നത്.
