Little known fact: Elizabeth and MM were being blamed for the hemmoraging of $$ at 20th Century Fox. Liz felt that they were both being used as scapegoats to blame for Foxes near bankruptcy. When she heard that Fox had fired MM, she was livid. She telephoned Marilyn and told her that she was willing to quit "Cleopatra" to show solidarity with MM. Marilyn was genuinely touched, but told Elizabeth not to risk her career for her. Elizabeth also told MM that if she needed anything at all, even $$, to just contact her and Elizabeth would see to it that she got whatever she needed within 24 hours. MM was truly touched, thanked her profusely, but said that she was financially stable (even though she wasn't). The only time Liz got mad was when someone called her a legend, and MM an icon. She fumed about that.

Monroe had no plastic surgery on her body. She had cartilage removed from her nose to refine it, and her jawline on the right side was built up to balance her jawlines. Taylor also had a nose job. Compare the early 50's nose to that of the late 50's. The latter is much more streamlined. If u want completely natural beauty, look to Ava Gardner.

I could never vote for anyone but Marilyn. Taylor was a child star and Marilyn was a creation of her own imagination with no one to advocate for her.

Quando è stata cacciata via dalla 20 Century fox perché non si presentava più sui set,, ha urlato al direttore dicendo:"Aha per quella vaca tettona di Taylor avete un milione di euro da pagarli, e per me no!?". Poi, se come la Taylor aveva la foto sui tutti i giornali,, Marilyn ha posato nuda nella piscina, dicendogli al fotografo che avrebbe posato nuda, se lui li prometteva che non apparivano le foto della Liz Taylor sul nessun giornale! E così fu. Però" chi semina male, male riceve"! Dopo aver posato per 3 ore di fila nuda, Marilyn si è preso una grave polmonite, che non li è permesso di lavorare per mesi. E poi, sempre malata, non ha più ricevute le offerte di lavoro, e dopo un anno si è suicidata poverina, ben sapendo che soffriva di schizofrenia come la sua mamma! Che Dio la tenga in gloria. 🙏

Penso che sia la celebrità su cui si siano inventate più bugie in assoluto dopo la sua morte, basandosi sempre sul suo ruolo di sex symbol. In realtà, lei era in effetti risentita per la diversità di retribuzione tra lei e le altre, e aveva pienamente ragione, dato che lei era quella che faceva guadagnare maggiormente la FOX. (tra l'altro, la FOX andò quasi dal culo per i soldi spesi con Liz Taylor e il film Cleopatra ). In realtà la scena della piscina le fu proposta (mi sembra di ricordate dal fotografo) lei accettò e propose che si sarebbe tolta anche gli slip se questo sarebbe servito a superare Liz Taylor sulle copertine dei giornali, e ci riuscì alla grande, la scena del bagno di Marilyn è strepitosa e ha una particolare magia. L'insulto a Liz Taylor non è una notizia affidabile perché dipende da dove lo hai letto, in nessuna delle biografie che ho letto io viene menzionato, quindi ognuno ci mette del suo. Il fatto che si sia suicidata è tutto da vedere, nessuno lo saprà mai. Per me non si è tolta la vita spontaneamente. Non ho mai creduto a questa ipotesi formulata per questioni di comodo visto che Marilyn provennendo da una famiglia con problemi psichici gravi, è facile formulare l'ipotesi della donna fragile, instabile, esaurita. Elizabeth Taylor era bellissima, ma mai è stata sensuale, profondamente femminile o carismatica quanto Marilyn, creatura incantevole tanto da sembrare un angelo. Poi credo che Marilyn sia prepotentemente più famosa e quindi Icona assoluta. Riguardo la sua levatura professionale, aveva un talento naturale, spontaneo. Hollywood le ha sempre voluto dare ruoli da bionda svampita. Marilyn sarebbe stata un fenomeno ancora più grande nei ruoli seri ed impegnati, per non parlare dei ruoli drammatici. Te equivocas porque Elizabeth era hermosa natural y Marilyn se hizo bonita con sus cirugias, desde joven se hizo muchas cirugías plasticas en su cara y en su cuerpo , cuando poso desnuda ya estaba muy cirugeada y asi festejo ! Marilyn no era abusada por los hombres , Marilyn se acostaba con esos hombres para obtener papeles en el cine porque carecia de talento y asi obtenia favores !

Marilyn was the whole package, maybe face might not stand out as much as Liz's, but she exuded "Sex", charisma and sunny appeal. Maybe Marilyn had more male admirers than female whereas Liz's was evenly divided. Marilyn also died at an age before she physically deteriorated whereas Liz we saw her at every stage of her life. We don't have any female stars that even come close to matching these two. Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Jen Anniston ? Not even close.

Marilyn had surgery in the nose, her nose was wide and with the tip pointing down, Marilyn had surgery on her cartilage and surgery on the tip of her nose and too had surgery for narrow the width of her nose , Marilyn had surgery in her cheeks, she had bigs cheeks, and she put on cheek implants, Marilyn had implanted her chin, she had surgery on her eyelids, Marilyn had implants in her breasts and so , Marilyn was a forerunner of the multiples plastic surgeries !

Everything in Marilyn was artificial and LIES because she invented her story of raped orphan ! The truth is that her mother Gladys , her father Charles Stanley Gifford , her cousin Frances and all her family worked in the Cinematographic Industry.

Marlin monore got the most special attention in Hollywood history. Other actresses got attention only because of their looks but the attention MM got was much deeper nd unique. Some ppl get attention only because of something they have but there are a few ppl who get a deep attention even more than what they actually have nd Norma Jean was one of them.

Marilyn se hizo muchas cirugías , se operó dos veces la nariz, se operó el mentón, se puso pomulos , se puso implantes de pechos, se operó los parpados, etc. La verdad es que Marilyn entró al cine por Nepotismo , ya que su madre Gladys y su padre Charles Stanley Gifford trabajaban en el cine de Hollywood y Marilyn estudió en escuelas donde iban alumnos de clase alta , desde el kinder hasta el High School y era una burra , siempre sacaba bajas calificaciones , hasta reprobó el séptimo grado escolar pero por la envidia que le tenía a Elizabeth , empezó a decir que ella era una genio con alto I.Q. cuando la realidad era que no podía aprenderse dialogos sencillos y aparte Marni Nixon era la que cantaba en sus peliculas y la tramposa Marilyn solo movia la boca !
