Marie Séférian is the daughter of a chanson singer and a chamber musician. This musical environment was important for her as the Lebanese roots of her French ancestors. During her study at the jazz institute Berlin she met her band members Nicolai Thärichen (p), Tim Kleinsorge (b) and Javier Reyes (dr). Together they form a quartet mixing French chanson, jazz and sometimes a little bit of the orient.
