Not a classier man in or out of a big league uniform. He's an old school individual more interested with helping others rather than expecting to be helped. Unlike so many of this generation, he has taken his good fortune and celebrity and chosen to lead his fans and followers down a road paved with hope rather than most of today's addled celebrities who take themselves down a road of self-destruction.

The Red Sox will probably bring him back to honor him for his contributions to their 2004 and 2007 Championship clubs but he won't touch Mo's all-time save record nor his post season records. Also, one team for a career ball players like Mo are a dying breed. Derek Jeter, maybe Joe Mauer--not many great ones stick with the team they start with for the long haul.

The Giants gave Rivera two gifts with the fucking SF logo on it. Pretty disrespectful.

Doesn't mean you give him a Giants logo.

When you give a gift don't you write your name on it? The Giants gave him a gift. When he looks at it years from now he will see that logo and be pleased that even his opponents thought enough of him to honor him with a gift. It is NOT disrespectful. Are they supposed to give all gifts in anonymity?

Then Red Sox sox gave him an original 1924 chair from Fenway? Is that disrespectful too..?

But the logo is pretty much just a signature, showing who the buff was from..? Not a big deal at all.
