The lyrics here are actually meaningful: "I see that I was never free" is a reference to stephen hillenburg's wish to end Spongebob Squarepants after season 3 and/or the movie. "As i stare up from the depths of the sea" is him realizing that, even if he died, he'd come back because nickelodeon would milk his series until he fully died.

I like the detail of Spongebob turning into the gross close-up during the 2nd phase.

I love how SpongeBob is mad at Mr crabs, but not at the fans, he said that we care about him more than crabs

Dude this is great, the Spongebob theme at the start is so uncanny, genuinely sent chills down my spine.
