Walter admitted in a recent interview that he did something that made Mariah feel betrayed. That's already an admission of guilt but I do hope they make amends. Tommy controlled the strings back then but you see today that Mariah remains on top because her gift is undeniable.

I am into astrology and long story short Mariah has a Scorpio moon and I am a scorpio in sun and let me tell you scorpios are very jealous people. it's just how we are wired so it's not that hard to believe about her ego she's also an Aries and Aries love to be the best and they don't like to admit being wrong but she does have a very sensitive loving side because of her Taurus rising and Scorpio is a very sensitive emotional sign too.

She says she hasnt seen him in a long time, and maybe she would and it was a nice working relationship but things evolve and who knows maybe oneday thats what she said.

I would kill for Sony to release a compilation album of Mariah Carey hits with Walter Afanasieff. I think that would be a very hot seller, especially on iTunes.

You can see the annoyance in her eyes first and the hurt and bitterness with how walter betrayed their relationship because of tommy. He was the one mariah referred to in the song Petals in the lyrics: so many i can say are closest to me and turned on the dime. Although the knife was chipping away at me they turned their eyes away amd went home to sleep.

It's said that Walter went to Tommy and told him some of Mariah's business when they separated back in 1997. That's probably why she feels betrayed or whatever.

@@codywalsh2075 That's so sad ☹ I think Mariah was very hurt about what happened with them. Their chemistry was so so good. I think they really clicked. For sure Tommy Mozzarella paid him a really huge amount of money that made him stick to Sony back in the day.

no. they actually cant work together back since the divorce, Walter was in some sort of exclusive contract with Sony under Tommy. things gets heavy & they go separate ways while Mariah wants to pursue more hiphop genre

It all seems petty on Walter's end. Walter is the only one who needs to apologize, for of the unnecessary trashing and lying he has done committed against Mariah in the press. Walter can claim for the rest of his life he misses Mariah, his interviews and comments will always say the opposite.

I read that Radio Times interview did with Walter and found it unfair. He was kinda dogging Mariah's love for hip hop. I like Mariah's ballads and her urban stuff. I'd love for Mariah to work with Walter again but it won't happen because he keeps dogging her.

That makes no sense because he always worked with other female artist. Before and during writing for Mariah he worked with other artist. He worked with Aretha for years before Mariah and he produced for Celine while with Mariah.

clint johnson she didn’t do anything to him. In the midst of her divorce with tommy, Walter went and told Tommy a bunch of Mariah’s business, and that wasn’t his place. In the song Petals from the Rainbow album, she says in the bridge “So many I considered closest to me Turned on a dime and sold me Out, dutifully Although the knife was chipping away at me They turned their eyes away and Went home to sleep”

He gets equal because it's his songs and Mariah jsut adds some dictionary words just to make it her own. Now she can't sing and can't sell records and is reduced to Jermaine Dupri and whoever can tolerate her damaged vocals.
