Mariachi Grulla de Plata from La Grulla, TX is one of the top high school mariachi groups in the nation. They placed 2nd in the Mariachi Extravaganza National Group Competition - High School Category under the direction of Alfonso Rodriguez.
The Mariachi Extravaganza is the largest mariachi music festival for competitive mariachi at a National level. Over 1,000 mariachi musicians, educators, and aficionados gather in San Antonio, TX every year to be a part of competitions, workshops, and events hosted by the Extravaganza.
