Add a few of the Salted Caramel Stiki pellets to it and it just adds something for the carp to munch on. It has become my favourite bait!

The joy of having a lake to yourself and i mean that in the way that it is a joy never quite goes that way often on a match but what fun

Definitely true! Even on a pleasure session it rarely is as 'solid' as it was this day.. But definitely the more anglers on the lake those fish get spread around somewhat

Have you got a barrel in your swim? Is it a fish farm? A kilo of gb seems excessive for fish you could net by standing on the bank?! Only jesting! Cracking video andy
Correct me if I'm wrong but this seems to be one of the "carp puddles" that I hear people talking about. There's so many fish there that you didn't really need to try - surely the groundbait didn't create that activity all by itself. Seems more like catching than fishing.

Why a 4x12 instead of a 4x14? Don’t you want a heavy rig to pin your bait??
Looks like peg 1 match lake larford , whole lake , no pressure , another video that paints a picture that’s difficult to achieve in a real situation .. yawn

Smack in the middle of match lake. Peg 1 has a massive bush down the left hand margin, so not much like it at all. We rocked up unannounced (a bit like any potential pleasure angler can do). It was a Monday morning so was quiet, as it would be on any non match day, although it would have been just as good had there been a few people dotted around the lake. (A match was recently won with 380lb with 4 weights of 200lb+ to back it up). So done right it's pretty achievable even with others on the lake.
